If it mutates enough age possibly won't matter so I don't think arresting the elders is a logical approach...

We are probably the biggest volunteer force in the country. In our schools, or hospitals, our govt buildings, ect. Not to mention childcare workers for our grandkids.
They used to pay people to do what they are doing. So, well.. no retired volunteers mean more cost to yous..
And no, those jobs never did pay that much. But hey, find yourself a little gumption and go get trained in a trade.. they pay good and many working in those fields are approaching retirement age.

Takes about a year to test vaccines on a control group.

It's not something that can be rushed given the implications that could happen like death for instance.

"They" won't roll out any vaccine until they know its safe because it could potentially do more harm than good.

Don't want to end up with two pandemics.

Vaccines follow procedures that cannot be deviated from in any way if they are to be effective.

As to culling the herds, well if Covid 19 is not a wet dream for the likes of the Tories and DWP, i don't know what is.

Just an observation creating a thread telling the old folks that you want to lock them up didn't work out very well.

Perhaps next time try "Hey, old people, y'all up for some ice cream? Get in the bus!"

I'm still working on a plan for the lactose intolerant old folks...

Would it not be the best bet to just isolate them, and then we have far less to worry about as most younger people can cope with the virus

Today I braved the ruin and met the devastation head-on with head held eye and Bowie's "Scary Monsters" on repeat. I went first by rail, then by car to the nearest provisioner of medicinal beverages. One bottle each of Kettle One and Cazadores Tequila in the 1.75-liter bottles, and a selection of tonic water for the vodka.

I resisted the urge to buy more. There were other desperate refugees trying to buy and I am not a savage.
