Would it not just be easier to arrest all the elderly

Maybe not arrest put put in isolation/secure unit all the elderly
You see almost all the deaths are elderly who are less immune to this

Would it not be the best bet to just isolate them, and then we have far less to worry about as most younger people can cope with the virus

Yes, 100% agree, but I don't think it goes far enough. We also need to load those Boomers on boxcars and send them east on an all inclusive vacation. Solves so many problems; it gets the sick people away from us, it ensures we wont be paying them Social Security and I can also party naked on their lawn without getting told to leave.

How do you suppose we find and then force them to isolate?
Where would we safely isolate that many old and sick people?
Would they come willingly?

Except I seriously have no idea what you think arresting us would accomplish. It wouldn't stop the spread of the virus. Us old geezers can't make the virus any more or less dangerous for everyone else even if we all disappeared off the face of the earth.

Why not just drop them in the ocean?
Maybe 10 miles out, any that are strong enough to swim back will likely be strong enough to survive corona.

And ya know what? I would be willing to donate my body for cremation in the hospital incinerators to help defray some of their heating costs during this crisis.
