I’ve been watching you all day downplay emerging crises.
I done had enough. Capice? You and yours keep playing this thing cool-like. It ain’t. DGAF if you think the Japanese reactor is fine. 9-11 was hoax. Straight nada. Bring something to the table or stfu.

The crisis unfolding before our eyes around the world is REAL. I don’t care if you have stocked up or not. I don’t care if you have a pet or not. You may be astute in your observation that “weak links need the boot” when it comes to nuclear power and Nat’l security. Not my bag. But Please

Don’t act like this isn’t unfolding. Like a radioactive fern
That isn’t Godzilla. Sincerely. The numbers we see are actually PEOPLE that had a life. And their loved ones are reeling. So just stop with your “tough titties” and all.

Just have a heart. That’s all. Please?

You must have me confused with someone else. Get some sleep, you're imagining things. I never downplayed anything, and if I did, prove me wrong and quote it. You can't. As for shutting down power plants, that's a really stupid idea. One can recognize how stupid that idea is without "downplaying" anything. Sorry to harsh your doom porn buzz, but mission critical systems are just that, mission critical. If the people who are responsible for these systems are going to play hookie and call out sick when they aren't, they absolutely should be fired.

Even Elbow-Bumping Is Too Intimate to Ward Off Coronavirus

Pence greets Gov. Jay Inslee in Washington state March 5 with elbow bump amid coronavirus concerns

Elbow-bumping was just beginning to become a thing -- even global leaders were doing it rather than kiss or shake hands as a safe means of greeting. But now, it’s apparently too risky.

The World Health Organization’s Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the official leading the charge against the coronavirus outbreak, said on Twitter Saturday he favors a more distant sort of salute.

He tweeted, "When greeting people, best to avoid elbow bumps because they put you within 1 meter of the other person. I like to put my hand on my heart when I greet people these days."

Whenever I read stuff like this I immediately think of the movie "Demolition Man" and how that future world I have laughed at so many times might actually become the new reality we are heading into.

Well it's kinda stupid. They tell you to sneeze on that elbow and then you bump it.

No man. You sneeze into the inside crook of your elbow, not on the outside of it. Actually thinking about it, I would like to see someone sneezing on the outside of their elbow. Would be worth a laugh.

Wrong. I have been making people aware for the past 2 months how significant this outbreak is.

Therefore I am very aware of the number of cases from the beginning. I dont recall seeing you posting early on, so I doubt you would be aware. Feel free to educate yourself on my earlier posts in part 1,2 &3.

As for people on here claiming they have it, it just comes across as attention seeking.

Nah, I've been here since part 1, even posted in it, but just didn't feel the need to constantly hammer the point across unlike others.

Attention seeking? I don't post here much, so I'm unsure of what you're getting at. No star whore here.

Have you considered people might want to share that they think they're sick with this so others may know what to expect or so they can take note of the possible extent of the spread of this?

When you get this, and you will, you'll KNOW you have it. I have symptoms from this I've never experienced before. Is it possible it's not Corona, absolutely, is it possible it's Corona given my symptoms, probably.

So now your a medical expert who knows how my body feels better than I do? Who the hell do you think you are by telling someone what YOU think or don't think they have? I didn't realize we had to authorize the validity of our illnesses with the resident ATS disease verification director.

Ok, just hoping it wont mutate to more dangerous..

Viruses are less likely to mutate to be more lethal replication is the goal so if a viruse makes a corps before it runs its course it will infect less people making it more likely to die out

Worst case scenario it starts hitting kids like it dose the elderly

ffs Australia...

seriously, pull your heads out of your rectums and start taking this seriously.. its not ''just the flu''

WA’s fourth coronavirus case is a woman who fell ill and was tested — but attended a concert with hundreds of people last night before getting her results.

Meanwhile, a man in Tasmania ignored pleas to self-isolate and instead worked several shifts at a major hotel before it was confirmed he had coronavirus.

There are now fears he spread the virus to hotel guests and staff.

Federal officials have informed me that a Marine stationed at Ft. Belvoir has tested positive for COVID-19. The Marine had traveled abroad recently, and is being treated at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. This is the first coronavirus case in Virginia. I am monitoring closely.

no secret vaccines have side effects, I think we might be seeing some of the side effects of vaccines with what we see in some people symptoms and reactions to the virus.

Now if vaccines had even just a bit of play in the spread of the Coronavirus, I doubt the CDC (those who control the CDC big Pharmaceuticals) would be excited about sending test that might point to vaccines as part of the problem.

So I’ll keep plugging along in this theory, but I do appreciate your input.

In the meantime keep safe and clean.

Edit: I meant to include Flu shots into the equation too.

You mean side effects like this?

The Grand Princess had been forbidden to dock in San Francisco amid evidence that the vessel was the breeding ground for a cluster of nearly 20 cases that resulted in at least one death after a previous voyage.

Smith said passengers who need medical treatment or hospitalization will go to health care facilities in California, while state residents who don’t require acute medical care “will go to a federally operated isolation facility within California for testing and isolation.”

U.S. guests from other states will be transported by the federal government to facilities in other states. Crew members will be quarantined and treated aboard the ship.

Floating incubation systems...

Seriously why would anyone be boarding a cruise liner right now? Do so at your own peril, do not expect the government to evacuate you

unfortunately i think something quite sinister is happening among doctors.

the affected regions in northern italy have some of the most skilled and international sought after medical doctors in italy.
this lockdown is creating an adverse effect

my cousin is a doctor occasionally working in the ER, living and working in the newly quarantined area, until friday that is...
Guess where she is right now?
With her family outside the quarantined zone, up on the mountains in a chalet accessible only by foot
Her husband is an engineer travelling everywhere in the world. He is now stuck in italy as clients were reluctant to have him at their sites

They didn't say anything explicitly to me when we were discussing our situation yesterday, but i bet they are there to take a decision as a family whether to stay and live in the quarantene zone on or. If they don't come back, this means that the region will lose a doctor (probably among many others who for sure are in the same situation and might feel safer abroad. This is not wuhan, self sacrifice is not on the cards when substantial job offers are pouring in from abroad)

On another similar front. you should know that many italian doctors and nurses commute to work from italy to switzerland daily or a few times a week. Swiss authorities in the past few days were already putting measures in place to have these people not returning to italy.
The Swiss national medical body have also been heavily spreading the news about the first doctor dying of Covid in italy . I am certain this is part of their efforts to encourage italian medical staff to take on their offers.

I think northern italy is exactly or very near the same stage of infections that other countries in europe are, but if they don't stop spreading panic people will start dying due to lack of skilled medical staff more than corona. These doctors who take job offers abroad are being replaced by medical students....

I had considered they may want to share, but do it in the thread designated for that.

Again I haven't seen a single person confirm they have been tested for the virus. So yeah as far as I'm concern attention seeking. I didn't realise ATS had been infiltrated by snowflakes needing validation for coughing.

I won't know. Just as you dont know. You just sound ridiculous spouting off.

You can appoint me that position if you like. I can see you need that extra validation.

Hello ATS members. I now hope you are awake for this type of news: Yamanashi men confirmed infection work at convenience store employees even after fever. This man works at a 7-11 and attended a small music concert on Feb. 28. Then 5 days later came down with fever. OK... yep ! you all go to them casinos now , I beg you go now while "we have a hidden enemy" among us. For real people, don't go where people are in clusters. Anyway, this ain't no BS. You got to start wearing them masks. If not go on youtube and learn how to make a washable mask.
Oh, by the way, the 7-11 was a store owner owned and not franchised and is now closed. Get my understanding now of "mass unemployment " on our front steps. Maybe Trump is right, don't worry we have it under control. (but ... who is WE )?
