UK news BBC doing there annual NHS hospitals not coping with NORMAL winter pressures. Talking about a guy who had a heart attack waiting hours for an ambulance as none available then 12hrs+ waiting on a trolley in hospital.

This is what will cause the problems add in even an extra 0.5% of the population with this and our hospitals will be completely overwhelmed.

This, this hit home for me.

Amongst all the hubub, I completely forgot how overwhelmed and understaffed the NHS is right now, WITHOUT a new virus 😐

Retired military husband keeps tabs on things regarding bases. Said yesterday that ours there have ordered everyone who lives on base to stay on base, access of SK'eans into base severely restricted, no public gatherings.

It appears to be the "soon to be " case here also in Tokyo. I think we just got to go back into survival mode some and hopefully govt. workers , who are no different then us in times of emergencies are on the front lines and also got to take care of their families "first", at least I would.

Just asked. He said no. He has a general travel advisory, but no specific information on Japanese bases like SK. We will relay if he gets any.
