Im not sure about other people and can only speak for myself so here it goes. A couple of years ago I had the regular flu.. no big deal I self medicated with over the counter drugs and continued going to work since I didn't have a fever. This is one of the trials of being a single parent to teenage boys (they have to eat and they eat a lot) My cough was horrible and kept getting worse so I figured I would put off going to the doctor until payday So I got dressed drove to work, worked 3 hours of my shift and BOOM I hit the floor. Not once but twice that day. Just passed out with no warning. My boss asked me to finish my shift which I did regretfully. As long as I didn't talk I was fine enough. He also lent me the money to go to urgent care the following morning. Turns out I had walking pneumonia and wasn't getting enough oxygen as I understand it. So yes in my eyes its easy for me to believe that people are out walking around and just falling over. Side note: I only worked 9 days that entire month. No I was never admitted to the hospital I stayed home and fought it out.. but I never ever want to be that sick again, Id rather take an easier way out of this world than to go out gasping for breath

I get all that. But...hmmmm. We are being told that this is coronavirus....which usually causes a cold, not really flu. And yet, if you look at medical research sites, they tell you that flu is what causes pneumonia, walking or otherwise. so, that's just the tip of the iceberg in the "disconnect," I am attempting to describe. This isn't supposed to be a flu, though I do not wish to reinvigorate that particular back and forth, but they've said over and over it isn't flu, and flu is far more dangerous.

regardless, I get your point. I've had walking pneumonia a few times myself. Coughed so hard a few of those times, I broke ribs. But I didn't pass out on the street. That you have is one thing. The videos available show MULTIPLE people doing just that.

Reading between the lines, if the report of Hong Kong couriers not wanting to go to Wuhan in late September because of a mystery illness, might be a bad report, if another report from a Beijing PHD said at the same time something wasn't right with regards to Wuhan with regards to some mystery illness Tends to suggest some truth. The people feeling unwell would have turned up at the Doctors, and would have been misdiagnosed with the flu and told to mask up and go home. The eight weeks from October to November would have worried local party bosses, and with them thinking of the SARS economic damage went into denial stage. When the numbers became impossible to deny by early December, they were sacked The mistake was not reacting fast enough to an epidemic.
Now by the middle of February, Beijing is under marshal law, Vietnam is on lockdown, reports of places in India are on lockdown. Plus all the other reports which may or may not be true, like Pakistan being locked down as well. So where is our free mainstream press with regards to all this? are they as culpable as the CCP in trying to keep this locked down .
From Late September to now, is six months for this thing, to close probably the first economy of the world down. Most of the medicine for the Wests increasingly sick populations come from China, India's Generics rely on raw materials from China. Plus the "Just in time" system used by the West to decrease warehouse inventory capital locked up in storage.
How's Americas pay as you go Medical system going to cope, the more you extrapolate the scenarios caused by this, it cant be too long before a cascade of events hit the Western economies. The timing has to be about now, considering the international travel from Wuhan. Would have caused a slight delay for it to affect the rest of the world, are we now playing catch up?

Still sticking to the idea that China was studying the 21 vials stolen from the US and it was either accidentally released in Wuhan ("hey fellow chincoms, let's build a level 4 lab in the middle of a 11M CITY, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?") or the US or some other country helped it get out as retaliation.

From what I can see, China has acted from the beginning like it knew exactly what the pathogen is. With that in mind, does anyone doubt that if China believes it is a biological weapon and it was used by a foreign power against it that war would not already be in full swing right now?

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced on March 13 that the number of severely ill persons infected with the new coronavirus on the cruise ship Diamond Princess has increased to 10.

　Eight of them were confirmed positive for the virus.

　According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, five men, including three Japanese who were identified by the 12th, were newly diagnosed as severely ill with three men and one woman in their 70s, and one man in their 80s. Three are positive, one is negative, and one is unknown. The first five were positive.

　The ministry also revealed that infected male quarantine officers engaged in quarantine on board had improper conduct, including repeated use of the same mask. He is investigating that these actions have led to infection.
