Back to the previous way of counting cases, obviously. I'm starting to think the member here yesterday who proposed the abrupt removal of several Hubei and Wuhan CCP local leaders was due to them going off script and releasing real numbers to the media, causing Beijing to flip their crap and remove them from their positions immediately may have hit the nail on the head.

I don't think so.

Previously it had been 1600 - 2500 per day.

This is way above that.

Although odd that deaths haven't moved much.

Ouch, lots of tourist industries are gunna start feeling the pinch.

I see a case related to Bali has popped up.
Bali is a bogan tourist hot spot where aussies love to get drunk, sleep with hookers, take drugs (and get life sentances) and fight.

If it spreads in Bali it will destroy their economy.

For sure.
Bali is to China what Caribbean Islands are to the Eastern United States.
Chinese that can afford it, go there for the beaches and party.
Much like people in the US go to Caribbean Islands for spring-break!

PS: Drunk Australians also go to Bali spring-break equivalent.

.

The Japanese military doctors has stated that the virus changes rapidly and moves very fast. Those are facts . This is what is causing all the caution on the ship. You see, Japan CAN NOT take everyone off the ship, we just don't have the facilities to handle such a crises at the moment. Hopefully this morning (will chime in later after the news) they'll talk more of what the plans are for the passengers. Japan has many islands that they can turn into tent camps in the southern part of Japan.

By "previous way" I meant Beijing extracting random numbers from their asses and throwing them at the media. I don't believe any of these numbers. Even with the two new hospitals, Wuhan doesn't have the infrastructure to be treating thousands of serious cases they claim AND be actively testing new cases, especially with something like CT scans that require specific infrastructure and can only be utilized one patient at a time.

China is giving the world numbers, and those numbers are just as accurate and useful as me taking the Whuan phone book and randomly reading out phone numbers and claiming they are the number ill.

I never stated it as a fact, just whats been said in the thread. I even said I'm trying to gather up what people have speculated and reported to try and form some kind of idea of whats going on. Just wanted confirmation that thats what people have been talking about and whether anyone has learned anything new or debunked any of it. Edit: even added a little disclaimer for ya

Tokyo Japan, one of the most modern, technologically advanced cities in the world... Ranked last year as the TOP Hospital city in the world. The Japanese government and their military are stating publicly that they lack the facilities to handle a crisis that would involve isolating 3700 cruise ship passengers for 14 days in world class hospital network that serves a metropolitan area of over 40 million people... but we've got folks who believe whole heartedly that Wuhan China, with too few hospitals, an already reportedly overstressed system, serving an area of 11 million resident can handle thirty, forty, fifty thousand people sick with this crap successfully enough to bring the progression of the virus to a halt?

The governments' reactions, virtually around the globe, their reactions DO NOT paint a rosy picture of this being something that will be isolated to China, easily fought, or frankly even successfully resisted.

Consider the power to control international markets on a day-by-day basis...China now has completely at it's command.

THEY completely control the news from their end...and, as a result, can control the daily stock markets based upon what information they may or may not choose to release on any given day.

Nissan Motors profit down 82% . Car sales down already by 25% here in Japan. I posted the 25% a while back. That had nothing to do with the virus. More likely the aging of the population here and young people in the big cities are turning to bicycles.

They are not going to 'control' it. When the time is right and
their MO is accomplished magically a 'vaccine' will be readily
available to 'cure' it. For a price of course.... EVERYONE WILL PAY

🤔. Touch the emoji

I can’t translate it maybe our Japanese members can help.

10 people brought off the cruise ship today in serious condition, think that makes a total of 14.

I just read this in my news feed (sorry I can't link to it).... nurses in Wuhan are shaving their heads now so that they can put their protective gear on more quickly.
Definitely seems to convey a sense of urgency.
