Time for more kitty pics!
Yesterday, I took the kitties out into the front yard for their first opportunity to wander about in the open air, on cool green grass. They didn't
know what to make of the grass at first but were soon walking around a little -- rather unsteadily, as they are only 3 weeks old.
So, to begin, here's an Itteh Bitteh Badass Kitteh and his family:
After a short while they began to home in on Katka, their Momma. I like the way she has a protective paw covering one:
She waited patiently while they got themselves sorted into line:
In just a few moments they were all settled:
Here's Corky. He's the only surviving kitten from Katka's first litter (15th May last year). It looks almost like he's jumping, but he's actually
lying on the grass:
Corky is now maturing and as part of that process, his black fur is changing color to a chocolatey brown. It's easier to see in this pic:
He is now as big as his Momma, but he's really just a big kitten. An hour after this pic, he went back inside, curled up in my laundry basket and went
to sleep. Everyone say, "Awwww, he's soooo cute..."
So, that's all on the kitty front for now. They're all doing fine, I'm glad to say. As for me, I'm doing okay as well. No real complaints.
