it was the double slit experiment that nailed it in for me. A lot of people got caught up in the argument that The collapsing waveform was caused by human consciousness. but When scientists caused the same phenomena to happen via the recording of a machine many people were caught with their pants down and were quickly spiraling into an existential crisis.

For me this connected the dots.

If a camera can produce the same results as the human eye. Then the only action needed is the act of recording information. the difference between the camera and the human is that the human put the camera there. the camera cant build itself and then choose to record.
To me this proves that the universe is fundamentally alive and responding on a vast spectrum. We simply exist at a higher level. but at the bottom it's all the same. a camera may not be conscious BUT SOURCE IS. Because the camera acts as an infinitesimal part of source and it is recording information then it has an effect. it's hard to explain but simple.

other cool stuff about the double slit experiment were the time travel aspects. I'm not 100% sure on this but The photon can retroactively collapse itself even after producing waves. producing a single possibility despite already in the process of producing many possibilities.

this is relativity showing itself to us at it's finest. in the literal sense of the word. Determinism and the free will question is hard to pin down but it becomes a lot easier to understand if you just accept that they both exist at the same time.

There has to be a choice. even if the result already exist, that future possibility doesn't effect your actions on a level you can consciously interpret. So an illusion to be sure but one so complete it's literally the real thing. i mean we literally cant imagine a world where every single action is so completely off the charts random and unpredictable that the consequences cannot be measured in some way. Every single action and reaction has a consequence and with a powerful enough computer you could know the future. but you'd still need the initial action to even get any data.

The instincts to kill and dominate are still in us, some more then others. But we have the choice not to indulge them. It is very unjustified to refer to this as "cultist". This is only spiritual knowledge that I am sharing, it does not deserved to be labeled the way you are labeling it.

I didn't say that believing me makes you have a soul. Somebody could still believe me while not having any soul. But someone could also not believe me when they have a soul.

This is about actually trying what I have talked about, not about if they believe me or not. Someone who tries it who has a soul will benefit when they try it. But there could be a soulless one that tries it, and even if they believe me they ould not get results.

How do you know about spirituality or religion be able to dismiss what I am talking about?

You are not acknowledging the possibility that not everyone has a soul. You could at least admit that it is a possibility but you won't even do that.

They’ve accused at least 1 person on ATS of not having a soul, but can’t prove the existence of souls. Isn’t that a bit strange?

I was once given a book by a Sufi and couldn't get by the first few pages because it started with the statement 'everybody has a soul' and moved on as if that was an established fact!
I'm just having a bit of fun with the pendulum stuff although it should be noted that the OP does indeed believe it is an effective tool in the quest for 'truth'.

The way I look at it is, if someone is trying to pass something off as fact/100% true, they should at least to be able to prove the basics before expecting anyone to believe anything larger.

This seems to be in response to something... but I agree with this perspective over one that is authoritarian .

I grant you 10 soul points for your "good deeds" and -100 soul points for your "bad deeds". More over the "I" must have a soul and not be questioned in that situation.
