This is Trump being Trump.
Saying such crazy ridiculous stuff the Dems and the News sources won't be able to not take the bait and derail their own news agenda that they had planned for this week.

So good

Trump says he's pulling out of Syria. Lindsey Graham jumps ship and starts bashing him on Fox news this morning

I was happy to read this earlier today. I suspect what's going to happen is the Kurds will now be forced to reconcile with the Syrian government, to avoid the impending Turkish invasion of their (the Kurds') territory.

Heck, that's almost certainly been the plan all along regarding how to settle the Syrian situation. Turkey, Russia, and the US are likely all on the same page.

Here he goes AGAIN.

Lindsey Graham
‏Verified account @LindseyGrahamSC

No matter what President Trump is saying about his decision, it is EXACTLY what President Obama did in Iraq with even more disastrous consequences for our national security.

Unlike President Obama, I hope President Trump will reassess and take sound military advice.

Lindsey Graham

The most probable outcome of this impulsive decision is to ensure Iran’s domination of Syria.

The U.S. now has no leverage and Syria will eventually become a nightmare for Israel.

If he wouldn't have thrown in great and unmatched wisdom I would totally agree with you.
This is some DARPA level bait.
This is Q clearance bait

It's at the point where I can't tell anymore. Insanity rules in this country right now.

Here's the bait guys.
In my opinion.
They're going to look into Isis.

Where did ISIS come from?
How did turkey benefit?
Destabilized syria steal their natural gas and oil then pump the stuff to Turkey?

Halliburton KBR and the rest were ready to rebuild that country as soon as they were done taking it over through clown controlled Islamic State

Can a member of Congress be impeached? I don't think there has ever been a definitive answer to that through any court proceeding.

However, even though they have some immunity while in session against arrest, the House is in recess till Oct. 15th, aren't they?

Hmmmmm.

1. A Congress member is exempted from arrest while attending a session of the body to which the member belongs, excluding an arrest for treason, breach of the peace, or a felony, or;

2.A Congress member is exempted from arrest or interrogation for any speech or debate entered into during a legislative session.

It seems to me that congressional immunity really isn't very strong at all. It only appears to protect them against arrests for misdemeanors.

FYI it's an immunity from arrest *during* the session. Once the session is over they can be arrested for the crime commited during the session. It's not immunity from prosecution.

The purpose of this is so that political rivals couldn't arrest Congressmen on bogus charges in order to keep them from their legislative / voting duties.

AFM, this one is pretty clear in intent. The idea, which pertains to the POTUS as well, is to prevent folks from being "detained" or "arrested' to prevent them from doing their job - voting on legislation primarily.

It is to prevent a Coup based on "orange man bad" syndrome via arrest him to get him out. Of course this leaves assassination as the means... (as the world turns)

The idea that anyone could be looking at this any other way is obscene. The intent was honorable, the adherence to the intent is the only honorable thing.

The Talib statement is beyond ignorant, hateful, and treasonous frankly. Then again there are an awful lot of reports of folks "swatting" "false allegations" "faked police reports" concerning those who just hate another and want the Government to deal with it for them.

Back in the early days of the country, it was not uncommon for local leaders in New York or Philadelphia to have members of Congress arrested to influence voting. That was the primary reason Washington DC was created; they wanted a city where the mayor/police were directly under Congress' control.

Trying to make sense of "in my great and unmatched wisdom". Maybe we need to look for something like one of these?

Erdogan says museum and former cathedral Hagia Sophia will become a mosque again

Built in 537 by the Byzantine emperor Justinian, Hagia Sophia—which means “divine wisdom” in Greek—was at the heart of religious life in the Byzantine Empire until the conquest of Istanbul by Ottoman Turks in 1453

On President Erdogan and the Church of the Holy Wisdom

Of course, there are Orthodox who strongly dislike President Erdogan, not because they are Turkish, but because they hate his threat that the Church of the Holy Wisdom in Istanbul, for long a tourist site, may yet again become a mosque.

For those playing at home Rick Perry leaving in November means his job is done. His position gave him Q clearance and complete and total unfettered access to literally almost anything. And then he was the designated Survivor at the last State of the Union Address giving him even further clearance to get briefings that he wouldn't have access to otherwise.
He would have access to all of the u-1 all of the energy Shenanigans being played all over the world by corrupt Crooks. All the slush funds and shell games and Bs.
And then Trump drops the fact that he's the one who told them to make the Ukraine phone call.

Why do they make Isis?
Billion dollar deals.

Hopefully they won't try to start Armageddon to save their asses

Reply to the Turkey bombing post, not this one, but I'm lazy so deal with it. twatter with vid

ETA: This is also a huge blow to Israel (saving for last?). Also, Obama/Hillary illegally invaded Syria and no one gave a rats ass. Trump ends it and its armageddon. My libertarian mind says "yay!" because we should stay the eff out of everyone's business anyway. Enough tax payer $'s being funnelled through gov hands.

"* Turkey does not have the capability to keep ISIS from re-emerging and their primary target is the Kurds – not ISIS."

OMG. Seriously, is Mr. Graham an idiot? The ONLY local power in that portion of Syria that could stop ISIS reforming WOULD be Turkey. The Turks are ruthless. Unless for some reason the Turks want to re-form a branch of ISIS for their own indigenous (to the region) agenda, to smuggle oil or something, then the Turks aren't really a concern. The Turks can hold ground.

Yeah, the Turks want a buffer, and the Kurds are their enemies, and the allies of the US neo-cons. I get that.

From where I stand, personally, I don't see much difference between the Sunni Turks and the Sunni Kurds. Just saying.

We just need to get the US people out.

My question is, why is Turkey still a part of NATO, and an "ally" of the United States in the first place?
