How about we start off with something simple. What has Bernie Sanders done that has benefitted the average American during his almost 40 years of being a politician?

He has authored 3 approved bills in that span. Two were name changes to Post Offices. That's one hell of a distinguished career. I bet people who visit those post offices think wow, if not for Bernie they would still be called lame names nobody cared about and probably just call them post offices.

Trump was elected to office and what bills did he author?

Are you serious. He was not in public office. How could he possibly author a bill. All I am asking is for Bernie supporters to look in the mirror and honestly ask themselves what has the man done in office meaningful for that long of a career in politics. If changing the names of post offices is a major accomplishment then there you go.

Could you give me examples of what you consider good work and good bills?

Or is passing garbage a good thing?

If he has all these great ideas then why is he writing a book about it. Why not author a bill and then he can make it reality or at least try. AOC did it. He does not want to do that for some reason. He's damn near 80 so these light bulbs of wisdom did not suddenly flicker on. His ideal government ideas have been stewing for many many decades. My point is he has the ability right now to make it happen. He doesn't even need to be President.

Well technically, it’s kind of impossible to pass socialist bills with just a few socialist in office.

Then vote status quo.

I vote to benefit my wife and kids. I can’t support someone who will force injections or take away my ability to defend myself and what’s mine.

Irrelevant. Since you can't provide an example of a person that does that.

It's not impossible because the US has many socialist policies. Now, something like the Green New Deal won't pass because it's utterly a joke but, certain aspects of green polices could pass. What about stop subsidizing bulk mail which nobody reads and kills millions of trees. I would be all for that one and many Americans would also agree.

Bernie could have written bills like that and got them ratified easily. He never did. I find that truly disturbing for someone that wants all this radical change but won't actual even take a small step to make any of it happen when he absolutely could do it.

How is that irrelevant? It’s happening in liberal states as we speak. Bernie is in the extreme end. He’d make sure it happened.

I believe if Bernie were to win the Presidency we really wouldn't have too much to worry about. Even the Democrats in Congress and the Senate are smart enough to not pass his Socialist policies (while they talk a good game there really aren't too many Dems that would actually vote to pass his policies lest they would lose their livelihoods come election time) and he would be very limited on what he could do by Executive Order. Even though the Democrats seeking nomination are almost all espousing similar Socialist policies I can almost guarantee it's just lip service for votes- business as usual.

In the end all it would mean is 4 years of getting nothing done. Not like we haven't been there before.

He authored 3 bills. One for Veterans and two were the naming of post offices. It's a real head scratcher because he has a large bag of ideas but in all his time in office didn't try to take even one of his socialist ideas and make it a bill. Some would have passed, especially environmental ones. To be frank, I don't understand what he has been doing at all for the pass 30-40 years of his life before running for President which is now a personal business since he's writing books off it.

Its debatable is the problem but you don't know this because you have followed a narrative.

What narrative? It's called common sense, analytical thinking, and knowing how much revenue we are capable of generating every year. Sheesh!

We have a massive mental health problem and suicide rate...declining our actual life expectancy....and we have a very fast changing economy do to unbelievable advancements. Truly unbelievable stuff is happening like science fiction books. Reprogramming Genes in adults with crispr to cure a form of genetic blindness is not from star trek anymore...

Primary and high school were literally created through the labor movement to train farm culture into factory work. This was a socialist movement.

Yet none of that has anything to do with Bernie Sanders wanting to provide Medicare-For-All and free college when our current Medicare system is already going broke and the largest consumer debt in the country revolves around college loans.

You've made it clear that you don't have a good argument.

They’ve already got rid of philosophical exemptions. They are working on getting rid of religious exemptions. They also have red flag laws that allow them to take your guns.
