AI is going to happen whether or not we want it to or otherwise, it already is happening in a rather more simplistic manner.

Artificial Intelligence Yes, with the emphasis on artificial, there seems to be some expectation that AI can become a being. Consciousness can never arise from computer code, its does not possess spirit. Spirit is eternal and will never be wasted on a machine.

When getting funding to develop a new product to take it to the market do you actually believe they use the scientific method or a mixture of both?

I really dont get how some can compartmentalize and put science as some "god on a pedestal" and yet fall to human frailty when the $'s get involved.

I have a question for you. What is the difference between a recently deceased person and the person who was there moments before?. The biological form could probably be kept alive artificially, so what actually changes.

Consciousness, for one thing, significant electromagnetic brain activity, and quite possibly a smell dependant on how long they have been deceased.

Have you ever watched someone pass, seen the spark go out in their eyes, your there and then you are not, that's it.

As to where we go or if there is anything beyond death? Well we simply will not know until we go.

To be honest, I'm on the fence where life after death is concerned, further study is most definitely required there.
