Spain just announced funding for their F-18 and AV-8B replacement programs. Contenders will be the Typhoon LTE, and the F-35A for the Hornet, and the F-35B for the Harrier. They expect to spend up to $10.5B by 2028 to replace both.

Lockheed Martin has just come out with new CG renderings of one of its concepts for the NGAD program:

The appearance of this aircraft, especially the shape of the jet exhausts, reminds me of the Lockheed Martin FB-22 strategic bomber design study.

interesting set up for these small defensive missiles for aircraft.

thew XB-70 was going to have a a high Mach lenticular interceptor but i think the tech just wasn't there yet as they were considering arming it with a small nuke

what i found most interesting is the platform they are showing this system on

as well as this time table for other programs

and less than a month from the release of the Raider i bet you we might see some interesting things

also HATCHET looks interesting

and Hard Candy Propulsion

Sweden was never a full partner. They are only working on the weapons and UAV integration side of things.
