Why? It´s flat like a runway. The speed won´t kill you the impact does.

Yes, I´ve been slow on days. I´m slow as long as the oil does not hit 90°C on these days in that car.

Maybe it has to do with the US being allowed to overtake from both sides. If you´re in the left lane here it means business. You can sleep on the right lane all day long, but don´t get pissy at others if they can drive and but you are afraid.

I don´t understand you, if you´re scared because someone passes you too fast, you´re a bigger danger than me. If you do an accident because you were too nervous getting overtaken, you´ll loose your license here.

It happens now and then. Back to topic

Better not say that. Seems that´s bullying now. At worst it could be seen as extortion / threat.

It´s better no one says anything and just ignores-through. Everyone eyes down, low breathing.

Honestly , what the OP posted is what you consider picking on a kid?

If that is the case then I'm not sure what to say because a lot worse things are going to happen to this person then being asked to not be selfish.

Is this really picking on a kid? Or is it just some like to be outraged about everything. If I read some posts here you´re all made of sugar. God beware that it rains someday.

I´ve heard much worse for less and it didn´t kill me. I still turned out as someone who has his # together. It wasn´t because I was crying everytime someone dared to say something rude.

I´ve been shouted at by someone in a wheelchair when I was in elementary school for holding the door open. Still hold the door open just like I do for everyone, if they like it or not. I could have been a whiney bitch but instead I thought "asshole" and went on with this.

Even though, the OP did not seem to be assholish. The world is not a playground, get over it. Stern words are sometimes needed. Those words in the OP were not even stern.

Would I have been annoyed? Probably. But you definitely caused a scene of you were speaking loudly enough for "everyone in line" to smirk. And IMHO you're the guy who makes a comment and looks around at everyone else waiting for your accolades. And before you say "I never said that" you didn't add in the info about the older lady in your OP. So give us all the info or I'll just fill in the blanks myself.

A "scene" is what you´re making out of this.

He said two sentences. A normal person would recognize it, nod, pack their stuff 2 feet to the right and go on with his life.

You assume that everyone is you.
Well there are a lot of different kinds of people.

Many of our greatest artists and writers are very sensitive People we certainly appreciate what comes of that.

How would you feel if you pushed someone over the edge? there is always the last straw. many teens are under great pressure, maybe you were not beaten by your parents, or hungry as I was as a kid, or maybe being raped nightly by dad.
Why lay a burden when all you need to do is have a tiny bit of patience.

Are you a psychologist or psychiatrist? What makes you think you know what a normal person must do in a circumstance? What the heck is a normal person anyway.

You hit something here.

I was beaten daily for stuff I did not do. By beaten I really mean beaten up. Not some slap on the fingers. Some times I did not even see it coming. Was minding my business and the next moment I was cowering on the floor trying to protect my neck, face and back all at once.

I could barely walk away at times and I still humble on one foot because of an broken ankle that did not heal correctly because he thought I´m just simulating and was sent to work in the barn!!! My nose never grew straight together.

You know # my son.

I will not walk on eggshells and think everyone is near suicide and I could push the one. You all overexaggerate this situation. After four minutes it was about time someone speaks up. Bad day or not.

My god.

And the OP can smell that?

We now all have to expect every person oblivious to it´s surroundings has some kind mental health problem. How dare we say something to anyone.

I worked technical stuff in mental health institutions where mentally disabled kids and grown ups go to school and can get a job later. It was more than 20 years ago. We half a day training how to store tools and how to react to differnt situations.

If you don´t want that hug, you don´t have to take it. Although I did most of the time until it reached a point where you could not work anymore. Even there, it´s common sense to not let such behavior fly. It has nothing to do with not accepting the illness.

You have my deep respect, I have suffered mental problem's in the past due to head trauma and potentially being slipped a mickey finn while I was on a degree course but it is almost as bad for those that have to tend to the mentally ill as it is for those that suffer from it.

Exactly. This is a young man that has the mentality of a younger individual, with the emotional range to boot (often kids with Aspergers, ADHD, etc are emotionally behind other kids their physical age). It's too bad you didn't realize the signs as kids with these issues have a hard enough time going out in public where the social aspect of the environment terrifies them to death. Who knows, maybe it was his first foray in doing an adult walk-through of buying something. He was probably terrified to death. In fact, the organizing and re-fitting are ways they deal with stress.

You won't see many of these individuals out there and so no need to worry that you have to endure another long wait. They are hiding in their homes afraid of the wonderful real world that they are too fearful of to take part in due to the prison of their mind.

Short and fast lanes for you, so yay!
