Yes, their job is to listen but the question, at least for me, is why do the protesters feel it’s ok to confront these people constantly? My family was involved with politics locally, and yes people did not always agree, but they also gave the elected officials space to at least eat their dinner, especially when they were with their families. It seems that no one feels that they have to observe any sense of privacy or for that matter decency and that goes for both “sides”.to: Phage

No, no it doesn't. You just can't equate yelling at someone and sending someone a fake bomb. That isn't on the same level. Nowhere near the same level.

Example: Is yelling at someone for parking on your lawn on the same level as trying to rob a liquor store with a fake gun?

Ok example some one parking on my lawn isn't doing it for some political gain. Where as well and making a fuss at an official to try and "terrorize" them with their political talking points does not equate. Oh and storming into an office should be counted as trespassing as well. If people want to protest do it in an organized manner and not let elected officials call for harm in others if they are not on your team.
