The Albanian chef who overstayed his visa is on duty at the cafe now because I'm popping next door to play chess with my neighbour (my son lol) and drink a few beers. His girlfriend is out on a work social night and he's enjoying not having to listen to talk about fashion and furnishings haha

We've got no alcohol licence at the cafe but if I charge you for an overpriced hipster coffee then you can have the 'sinthe 'on the house' but if you are sick you clean it up...a pint ffs, that's rocket fuel!

First job this morning, repainting this window, boring as #, and fiddly, I can't imagine why anyone would choose to be a painter and decorator as all they do for a living. I would actually die of boredom.

Had a phonecall from the guy paying me for the job at 11am saying the sea is flat calm and he wanted to go wake boarding so can I meet him at the harbour to drive his speedboat, of course I said yes, as I've done many times.

At beginning of this year i wasnt getting any allowance so i had to get a job at a convenience store, could barely make it but it was fun to see and talk with lots of different people, i like jobs like where you can work but talk to people and make friends. Did not last long as one day a cop came in to buy stuff and he immediately noticed me, asked if my parents owned the store and got suspicious of my situation, had to quit to prevent getting them in trouble, i have no work visa he he

when i got here i had nothing to do and was out on the streets most nights until 3/4 am, at the park met lots of friends that were runaways too or just lived crazy lives, some of them worked since they were 12 or so, selling candy or stuff on the streets and some of them were construction workers and their fathers were the same, i dont think they ever had licenses to do work, or had to pay taxes. but it seems like nobody cares if they have licenses or not, they always have work and nobody ever asks

it is funny here how i can be out there with no id and they just tell me to get home or take me, we got in trouble so many times and nothing happens after they take us home

but if i work, participate on anything political or go to a student march that turns into a riot and get caught then i will be thrown out of the country, visa permanently revoked lmao

Move review of "Predator" lmao, as we don't have a Thursday Movie night i will just post this here because i found it hilarious

First i must say i have a 100Mbps Internet connection now, and yet i kept getting the movie freezing a lot! FFS, we were watching in very nicely except for those time, but i did get some very nice and funny screen captures of those times lmao

Anyway we had a movie night and we watched "Predator", next week we will watch "Terminator" lol, and also a friend suggested "Wayne's world" but i don't know, i wanted to watch "The Wall" because of the videos posted here but i can't find it anywhere, and it looks like is not accepted much on this side of the world.. Oof

So anyway the movie was wonderful but well, i'm stil thinking about things mentioned above and how in the end i think an atomic bomb blows up and how the guy can survive that just by running? Too much funny stuff with that lol, otherwise i really liked it, event though the Native American guy with the big knife did not had a good death like he should have, just a "screams far away and dies" scene, which i hated because all other guys had a good die scene, so meh with that one scene

...and every 'Arnie' movie is funny, I can never take him seriously. Total Recall is hilarious and cheesy, but a good watch.

Lazy Sunday for me, few drinks with a mate now just getting ready for Monday, might actually do 5 days this week working, not looking forward to it but gotta pay to play so has to be done. I've got a brilliant tactic now, my son who lives next door starts work before me so he knocks my door when he leaves to make sure I wake up lol, if I don't answer he'll come in and shout at me to get up.

I really like this, got a major 1980's feel to it though...
