The ACME of irony here is that there is a very large likelihood that there are Russian troll posters in ATS, as well as adds from Russian agents being spammed in the margins, and yet Trump sycophants continue to deny their existence, involvement, and effect while simultaneously being spurning into action because of them.

can you show us the adds that triggered you?

This has been one of the longest and most exhausting reads of ATS I have had in months, simply because it compresses all the previous x months into a single monotonous butter thread.

ATS moderators, if you're listening, I think we need a bot button. Similar to a star button, but a button that instead reflects the communities overal rating of some particular users 'bot' status.

Might help with the weeding

I guess I'm being naive, but how does one determine the difference between a "bot" and a poster who is passionate about a certain political position?

Good example of what I was saying. Being so fearful of the idea that one might have been manipulated generally causes those suffering from it to lash out in whatever way they can to deflect/redirect away from that realization. Its uncomfortable, I know, but we're going to get through this.

Thanks for the example though, I do appreciate the help in explaining it.

Yep, even if I don't watch the news, somehow, Fox commentators persuade my way of thinking.

Yea, asking for an example was a real bad move on my part. I realize now you are used to idiots of the same flock just accepting what you say as fact, as you seem to be in the latter part of TDS.

As I said, pretend I never asked for any proof, as that would put you on the spot, as it were.

At this point I can only guess that donald just doesn't want to admit that he was wrong.

He is scared that doing this might just be the one thing that his base wont stand for.

Thank god they are not just following lock step behind the president.

That is something I never want any congress to do. For any president.

Absolutely correct, Putin did not want Hillary to win at all. The absolute civil war her win would have caused would have knocked the US out of being a Superpower for decades after the fighting ended. Russia could not in any way shape or form fill the vacuum and would never leave it up to China to be the sole world power.

The collapse of the Soviet Union was from trying to keep up with the Jones. Putin wasn’t going to play that game again despite wanting desperately to support the rebel faction overthrowing Hillary’s America.

Sadly half the countries in the world would bankrupt themselves supporting the rebellion in order to establish a better partnership with a new and improved America.

Great ...The Russians wanted Trump to win. Who cares??? This thread is another roundabout way of trying to "Russia Russia Russia" Trump's presidency.

Why does this keep coming up? -- The Russians had absolutely NOTHING to do with Trump winning the election. If you believe they did, your are sick with TDS and should seek professional help. Liberals can look in the mirror if they want to know why Trump won.

You should care. It isn't about what Putin wanted, it's about what he did, and what the Trump Campaign did to acquiesce.

Putin also wants to see America in ruins so he can take over America and be president of America and rule 300 million Americans. Every non American wants that. So what? What's your point? Everyone has freedom of thought.

First off, I write all of this not as a democrat or republican or a socialist. I am an independent conservative. If you had to assign a label to me, I suppose I would be more libertarian than anything else. Big government is the enemy of the people.

That said, I think you are overestimating things. I will say it again. The Russians had absolutely NOTHING TO DO with the outcome of the last presidential election. And Donald Trump has (and had) no influence from Putin. This is all just a ploy by a childish left to try to de-legitimize the results.

What was it Obama said? -- "If you want to change my policies, then win an election." ...Conservatives did that.

Trump's election was the result of an indictment of a failed Obama presidency and his MSM mouthpieces. Trump was elected to erase Obama policies that were put in place specifically to lessen this country's people and influence, and introduce more hardships upon the American people (specifically the middle class) so that they could be controlled. Trump was elected to turn back the tides of globalism. And he is succeeding.

Low unemployment. A booming economy. Lower taxes. New dialogue with North Korea re:nuclear disarmament. Fairer trade deals to the U.S.. A drawback of an unfair Obamacare program. A tougher American stance on global issues. An end to children being separated from their illegal families at the border. An emphasis on better border security in general. A budget surplus. Trimming government fat. A crackdown on child sex trafficking. I could go on, but these are just a partial list of Trump's accomplishments during his time in office thus far. America first. I see that the left and the MSM are against these things. I find that morally reprehensible. If Trump found a cure for cancer, the left would be out in the streets protesting even THAT.

"Russia" has nothing to do with any of this. "Russia" has no influence on Donald Trump. "Russia" is an excuse for the failed policies of the left that got him elected. And it is the continued childish behavior of that same left that will get him a second term. NOT "Russia". No one with half a brain is buying the faux liberal outrage going around right now.

That "Russia" keeps coming up is amazing. Sure. I have no doubt they preferred Trump over Hillary. Most people did. She is a twat waffle who probably would have had us at war with somebody by now and running a growingly negative GDP to placate her globalist masters. But memes don't win elections. Ideas do. Hope does.

Another Obama era quote: "What goes around comes around." Instead of the "Russia Russia Russia" dialogue, the American left would be better served to try to figure out how to better connect with their American constituency because, right now, they are completely out of touch and off of their rockers. Their calls for violence against and disruption of the lives of anyone that disagrees with them is telling and a look into their mental state. This whole "Russia" narrative to try to de-legitimize Trump's presidency is a symptom of that. Are these the unstable people we really want running this country?

Vladimir Putin has no more influence over Trump or the American people than a simple mosquito. Let's not delude ourselves here. Trump's presidency is a push back on the continued personal attacks and overly intrusive policies of the left. Democrats and their MSM mouthpieces got too full of themselves. They became too elitist. In response, Trump was elected to erase the Obama era.

America cannot control Russia just like America cannot control France and Germany. Russia makes Su-57. France makes Rafale. Germany makes Typhoon. Best in the world. They will never buy a single plane from America. That's why they are enemies of America.

I did not rig the fight for one boxer to win!! I just rigged the fight for the other boxer to lose?

Trump probably was not aware of this going on.

14 (and counting) meetings between the Trump campaign and Russians that were lied about and covered up suggest otherwise.

there have not been any international laws to say that the action is illegal

There are treaties and agreements, but there is no "International Law". It is rather a custom or understanding.
there is no single organization that passes laws that bind all nations of the world.

You statement is premised falsely.
