This is nothing more than an overview and concurrence of the ICA, which is a product under the ODNI ran at the the time of release by James Clapper who was employed and directed by then President Obama. All the Senate Committee is doing is agreeing with tainted bias and corruption ran by a Shill who's been busted lying and influencing the election towards Hillary Clinton....

First -

Anything with any alphabet agency (including Google) associated with it is suspect at best.

Second -

The USA runs ops against candidates in other countries, both the ones they want to win or lose. They also do the same to the USA. Don't see a major problem unless voting machines were hacked by Russians and it's conclusively proven. (See #1)

Third -

Nothingburger. Awan has proven the hacking was inside congress and for Pakistan and personal gain.

1) Not sure what Google has to do with the Senate Intelligence Committee report. Can you clarify?

2) Huh, So why isn't Russia complaining about it?

3) I don't know what Awan has to do with the Senate Intelligence Committee report. Can you clarify?

I talk to about a half dozen Russian gamers on and off

That is a far cry from virtually an entire administration having ties with Russian politicians and oligarchs.

And I'm sure the senate has a hell of a lot better information on this than you do.

Hillary still would have lost.
Besides the title even said he wanted Trump to win. Not did something to influence the win.

Me thinks Putin just wanted anyone unlike Obama.
You act like our affairs haven't been influenced before...
I get it, I get it...
But before it was your team who won apparently.
I must admit this Russian meddling thing is getting very old. Most of us don't give a **** because every nation on the planet meddles in other nations affairs. Regardless Trump was elected democratically by marginalized Americans or racist Nazi's. Depending who you ask.

I guarentee nothing substantial will come of this.

Of course Putin wanted Trump to win. Hillary, even if she is a snake, is a politically and diplomatically skilled snake. Trump is a cocky, thin-skinned businessman. I'm sure Putin would realize that Trump would be the best case... he is easily manipulated by dignitaries, pomp and circumstance. Trump has managed to divide the U.S. unlike any President in decades (contrary to his victory speech).

Trump may not have been directly involved with the Russian meddling.. I don't think he is smart enough. But I think others who wanted Trump to win, were involved. But Trump (and his sheep) have claimed repeatedly that there was no Russian meddling. Now.. it has changed tune to sure.. there was meddling, but heck.. every country does it, so it's A-OK, and Trump wasn't calling that shots, so big ol' nothing-burger.

And while that is happening, Trump has been nothing other than supportive of Russia's annexation of Crimea, and has barely raised a stir about election tampering, the only repercussions a result of backlash, and certainly nothing to do with Trump's being unhappy that Russian meddling may have had something to do with Hillary losing support and thus.. him winning POTUS. Do you really think Trump in an enraged fit, asked for the U.S. to sanction Russia over election tampering? Just.. lol.

" Three Major Problems with Senate Intel Committee Report Affirming Russia Meddled to Get Trump Elected "

1 – The Committee admits it had to rely upon intelligence agencies for the accuracy of the information collected for its findings.

2 – The Committee concludes the Intelligence Community’s assessment that Russia sought to aid President Trump’s election chances was reached in a “professional and transparent manner.” This conclusion is contradicted by an extensive Republican House Intelligence Committee report, and the narrative of Russia seeking to get Trump elected was partially challenged by the recently released book of James Clapper, who served as director of National Intelligence under the Obama administration. It was Clapper’s agency that released the Intelligence Community report.

3 – The Senate Intelligence Committee’s initial finding that the anti-Trump dossier was not a factor in the IC’s analysis is at odds with descriptions from both Clapper and former National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers.

Chairman Burr is a Know Trump Hater....Nuff said .

The scary thing about this controversy is that people seem to think Russia CAN influence our elections?

I'm sure they exert influence where they can. America also tries to influence Russia's internal political process, where we can.

But in order to honestly believe Putin got Trump elected, you first must honestly believe Putin CAN choose which candidate will win.

And if you believe that, then you've already fallen into Putin's great political stratagem. He wants everyone to think he's a friggin' god! That's why he wins the battles he wins. Everyone thinks he has already won and so they don't fight him.

Eh? He can choose which candidate he'd like to win. And based on that, he can use ample resources to try and discredit their opponent. I don't know how much of a real impact he had on the elections, but it was a close race. So yes, he could have had an actual impact on the election.

Why is there no thread on this?

Because Q told us Trump has an IQ of 234 and that's far more important than these inconvenient revelations that bring the administration into question.

The ACME of irony here is that there is a very large likelihood that there are Russian troll posters in ATS, as well as adds from Russian agents being spammed in the margins, and yet Trump sycophants continue to deny their existence, involvement, and effect while simultaneously being spurning into action because of them.

This has been one of the longest and most exhausting reads of ATS I have had in months, simply because it compresses all the previous x months into a single monotonous butter thread.

ATS moderators, if you're listening, I think we need a bot button. Similar to a star button, but a button that instead reflects the communities overal rating of some particular users 'bot' status.

Might help with the weeding
