I knew it would not be long before we started to see posts made by either useful idiots or those who are paid to make such posts to support and praise the New Wold Order.

Trouble is, as someone said "we will come to love our torturous."

Just heard that UN Ambassador NIKKI HALEY was (behind the scenes) critical in making this US-NK summit happen. Nikki is Awesome.

This document doesn't seem to move the ball at all. Kim Jung Un has not agreed to anything they haven't said in the past and yet he's gotten this big status boost.
What do we get? What do the people of North Korea get?

World peace, is that why Trump put another 700 billion dollars into the military, they must upgrading to peace missiles and love bullets.

The missiles and bullets are for those who refuse peace.

No more rockets flying over Japan or threats to destroy Guam, for starters. Individuals and families in those areas can sleep a little more secure at night.

No more rockets flying over Japan

Is that in the agreement? Where?

I posted it earlier. There are at least 3 US-NK threads going tonight.

I read the agreement. The word missiles does not appear in it.
www.cnbc.com...

It bears a striking resemblence to this, from 2007

III. The Parties agreed on the establishment of the following Working Groups (WG) in order to carry out the initial actions and for the purpose of full implementation of the Joint Statement:

Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula
Normalization of DPRK-US relations
Normalization of DPRK-Japan relations
Economy and Energy Cooperation
Northeast Asia Peace and Security Mechanism
2001-2009.state.gov...

It doesn't have to spell out every conceivable weapon of war, lol. What's different THIS TIME, is that North Korea is going broke and starving.

They were broke and starving in 2007 too.

There is no breakthrough here. Nothing has changed. Except that they now have nukes and missiles that can deliver them to the US.

Same promises to strive for something. That's it. But Trump doesn't know that this road has been followed before. Because he doesn't. Because he doesn't need to prep for anything.

Yeah. Cool.

Been here. Done this.
Seems like dozens of times. "Tear down that wall", and all that.

Too cynical? Sue me.

Yep, the world became more peaceful at those times and now is more peaceful than at anytime in history, and it's about to get Even Better! πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

It's OKAY to be proud to be an American again!

I've been proud to be an American my entire life. No matter who was sitting in the Oval Office.

Call me a cynic.

As long as armament and pharmaceutical manufacture holds top 5 spots on biggest earners ... well you know the rest.

So you've given up hope? If all goes as planned, your faith and optimism in humankind will be restored. Don't "Bourdain" yourself in the meantime. Keep hope alive, Phage.

Didn't Trump just pretty much piss off the entire leading economies of the world to get Kim to just sign a letter saying he'll be nice?

Funny ... Trump runs off to talk to Kim who just so happens to have a huge stock pile of cheap coal.

None.

Now a question for you.
How many sitting American presidents had a North Korea with nukes and the means to deliver them to the US? How many sitting American presidents had a sufficient threat to meet with a North Korean leader as an equal?

Sorry, that was two questions. But neither yours nor mine change the fact that this meeting is a far cry from proclaiming World Peace.

You are correct. The entire world is not at peace, so we cannot declare world peace. We can declare World (More) Peace(ful) (again).

You may have the right to complain that these milestones should have all happened a lot sooner. For that, I am sorry.

I like your question though...

But lets phrase it in a way that peels back yet another layer of the truth...

How many Sitting US Presidents continued to DO nothing but "sit", while the obviously hostile rogue nation grows stronger and stronger...(almost as if they were sculpting the next saddam/khaddaffi analogue to make a fortune off of)...acheiving each nuclear milestone with no meaningful roadblocks at all, Until finally Trump inherits a nuclear NK, with means to deliver?

It's almost as if he plans to do business with Kim in order to get cheap coal for America... That scheming sonofabitch is Always finding ways to benefit his country and help his people! How much longer are we going to put up with this kind of leadership?!
