Call me a cynic.

As long as armament and pharmaceutical manufacture holds top 5 spots on biggest earners ... well you know the rest.

😶

I'm with you... Unless Trump can solve every single problem simultaneously, then don't even waste my time(ly)! I wish he would just crawl back into whatever hole he came out of... We were doing JUST FINE before he came along and spoiled everything!

Yet steps on the toes of his most closes 'allies' to do it.

Trump won't be in office forever you know. Just remember that. The world of free trade and global peace did no get closer, it got further and further because of what he is doing. And American's will get hurt in the process of making him look good on paper.

No more rockets flying over Japan

Is that in the agreement? Where?

It doesn't have to be in the agreement. Do we have an agreement with Canada or Mexico? Nations who are friendly with each other do not threaten eachother with weapons of war.

Didn't Trump just pretty much piss off the entire leading economies of the world to get Kim to just sign a letter saying he'll be nice?

Funny ... Trump runs off to talk to Kim who just so happens to have a huge stock pile of cheap coal.

Like we don't have coal?

Yeah, maybe trump should have done a sonny corleone on him?

WTH is wrong with you people?!

Let's see how this plays out, like the Mueller investigation.

Let Trump go forward and don't interfere.

Dumb#s.

I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt with the whole Russian collusion thing. I never really got involved in that debacle since there was almost no certain evidence. But this is playing out right infront of our eyes. And the summit to get Kim to sign took way to short of time, this was all planned before hand.

I hate when that happens.

I don’t buy any of it.

It seems all fake - like a show.

These are not the leaders.

Like it actually matters?

Too bad you weren't there to rip it up.

If we can find Peace with North Korea now, than we are on the verge of a whole new paradigm, a New World Order of friendship, partnership, and Good Will.

All we have to do is embrace ruthless authoritarianism. North Korea,China, Syria, Russia... all of these countries are leading the way.

Yeah he won't be in office forever that's why it's ok to take a few chances and see what works. Almost every single thing he has done can be undone in some way shape or form if it has been deemed harmful.

Trump seems to think our Allies have not been very neighborly. I would have to examine that claim much more closely to see if it has any merit. Maybe if I Look at it from the right perspective, it Does make sense to hand over my grandfather's legacy to foreigners who despise me...

I think you are being a little bit of a drama queen here... You make it sound as if we are embracing it into our own country as a valid form of government.

You suggest pretending China and Russia do not exist? In the real world, we have to do business with them, they are the next two biggest players. Simce we acknowledge their existence, we are embracing Everything About Them???

Embracing ruthless authoritarianism... 😆 You are just too much 🤣

You hate the fact this is happening. I'm sorry but this is the Only way we have a chance to have Any influence on that brutal aithoritarianism...

The lives of Russians, AND the Chinese have IMPROVED, become MORE democratic and free than before thanks to their contact and relationship with Western Nations!! You would deny the same for the Koreans because you dislike their leaders tactics...? Are you... are you being SERIOUS right now??????

Even still, we won't fire missiles over their territory in a threatening manner and that was my point.

I guess by your definition, most of the world has been in a covert trade war with the US for many decades now. It's about time we joined the fray.

But our national defense policy does call for destroying incoming nuclear missiles from Russia over Canada. This was a source of friction in the last century and will probably become an issue now.

Seriously? The United States created the current world order. It is skewed in our favor... at least that is what all the members of ATS were complaining about right up until the 2016 election. When the ruble or RMB become the world's reserve currency we will have something to worry about.

Incidentally, who is that you are using as your avatar?

Homophobia: check. Look around you, the United States is beginning to embrace it. The Supreme Court just ruled that voters can have their voting rights revoked at the whim of the state. Our border patrol is treating refugees like criminals. We have a president who is not including Congress in his foreign policy considerations... need I go on?

You suggest pretending China and Russia do not exist? In the real world, we have to do business with them, they are the next two biggest players. Simce we acknowledge their existence, we are embracing Everything About Them???

Russia is not one of "the next two players," the EU is... and Trump is assisting Russia in trying to destroy our relationship with it. Trump is not simply "acknowledging" Russia, he is serving it. As for China, his courting North Korea is setting us on a course for open conflict. If you can't see war with China on the horizon you are blind.

Embracing ruthless authoritarianism... 😆 You are just too much 🤣

You are the one embracing it, not me.

You hate the fact this is happening. I'm sorry but this is the Only way we have a chance to have Any influence on that brutal aithoritarianism...

I don't profess to know what is actually happening vis a vis Korea. Trump's secret diplomacy remains secret from the American people.

Yes, Russian lives had started to become better as they embraced western values. That's over now. Putin has imposed an authoritarian regime that was keeping the population happy with the profits from its extractive industries. Those profits have shrunk as a result of his military adventurism. China has become economically prosperous, but the police state has been growing stronger. You might not mind it if you are Han, but it is getting more dangerous for Tibetans, Mongols, and Muslims. I am deadly serious. Are you?

Aye coz North Korea are the real problem!!!

World peace, how do you expect that to come around when most first world nations cannot function without wars to bolster there military industrial complex profit and control?

Fact is America, and my own nation are the warmongering bastards and have been for quite some time.

It's a puppet show, simple window dressing for our masses really.

Short of NK coming into the fold, adopting a centralized banking system in line with the rest, nevermind a complete regime change, nothing will come from this debacle other than negative PR for NK and crap out of Trumps mouth.
