I have let one of my panting cats luxuriate in the cool of
the freezer section, which is at the bottom of our fridge.

Even put him in a drawer and closed it briefly. He loved it !!

Now when it is hot, you can't open the freezer without him plonking himself bang smack in the coolness of the open freezer door ... hehe. Not silly !

We are currently enjoying 23deg.c. Autumnal weather.

Until next year ... !

Hi Aurora,
It was quite hot (for Scotland!) but just mid 70's really, so not tooooooo hot, and we had two huge big parasol things above the back decking there so we could shelter in the shade when required!
Most of the bands were playing inside the festival venues (pubs, hotels and clubs/halls) where we only got too hot when dancing too much... YES, I got too hot from dancing too much (at my age!!! ROFL) but it was such great fun that it HAD to be done!

Strangely, no BBQ's were to be had over the long weekend, but we were kept well fed with Pizza and sandwiches etc.

Timely - Currently sitting below 8 degrees here - also autumnal weather... You northerner you * hisses *


Gordi - No idea what 70s is in Celsius but if it's under 40 degrees no sympathy. Well I still melt anywhere above 30 but over 40 is a reg occurrence here and it makes me question why the decision to move to Australia by my folks was worth it. Worst I had was 47/48 degrees with furnace wind and I was in early pregnancy. No fans, no aircon. Was absolutely crap and my heart aches for those who had worse that day.

(I've been watching a ton of awesome Spanish shows on Netflix. I adored El Ministerio del Tiempo. Highly recommend for an adventure in Spanish History and Culture (so many in jokes I had to wiki!) I'm so cheesed off they aren't making more episodes. Full of plot holes, but have to put that out of your head to enjoy a great romp!

I guess I have to keep lurking this thread to make sure you guys aren't talkin' smack about NB this and NB that..

Well, I think it was 77F on Sunday, so that would be 25 Celsius or thereabouts?.
