Hi birdy,

Remarkably... we've had warm (sometimes HOT) sunny weather for the last 2 or 3 WEEKS here in Scotland.

The first rain that I've seen during that period happened about 4 hours ago when a very quick thunder storm rolled over, dumped a quick heavy shower on us to the sound of someone "upstairs" putting his (very British) wheelie bin out for 30 mins (google it! LOL), and now... all is back to being warm & calm, although less clear and sunny than before.

My tan is coming along nicely though.... (It takes us Scots about a week in the sun to get white - we start off a strange pale-blue sort of colour!)

JACY NEWS - Our Shedette Jacy is finally getting to move out of the shelter that she has been living at for too long now. She gets her new apartment on June 9th. I wish we all lived closer to help her out.

Hey that is great news! A nice read. It can be a bit strange living on one's own after being in a shelter but then she can write here to get support from all of us.

She is overly worried that she will be in an empty apartment. This is because she has just a few belongings and no idea what her friends are planning to give her.

That safety vid was awesome!

Glad to hear that Jacy will be getting her place soon! Do they have anything like craigslist in Canada? Sometimes people give away free furniture and things. She could maybe contact a church for help? Maybe the shelter has resources of some kind?


More prayers for our dear friend! It will be great to see her posting again, I'll say that much!
