My facebook shared a memory from 4 years ago. It is still relevant.

"The Hegelian Dialectic is, in short, the critical process by which the ruling elite create a problem, anticipating in advance the reaction that the population will have to the given crisis, and thus conditioning the people that a change is needed. When the population is properly conditioned, the desired agenda of the ruling elite is presented as the solution. The solution isn't intended to solve the problem, but rather to serve as the basis for a new problem or exacerbate the existing one."

Hehehe, nice find!
It's a balmy six degrees C here and the heating is still out of order. The rental company said they legally have 2 weeks to get it fixed. Yay....shiver.

Hello Sheddicans -

Shep is back in da haus. Been under the weather for a couple days but I'm feeling a bit better now.

Absolutely, Joe - if you write heroic ballads for the collaboration they shall be included!

Welcome to the Shed, Abysha.
Pull up a chair, grab a beverage and maybe some donuts. Pick a room - it is an infinite space, so your room is whatever you choose it to be.

Hello Shep and Fin! How are you gentlemen doing today?
I've actually been productive for a change. Repotted some plants, filled the turtle tank with more water, did some housework. I actually have energy. Yay!

Theoretically I could move next Tuesday but I need money to move. I'm hoping to get a loan from the council (don't wanna ask friends, they've all just bought houses recently so money is probably the last thing they can miss right now) but that will take two weeks. Fingers crossed!

ETA New place is a school building with 24 people in total living there. I hope they are chill folks that don't blast their stereos at ridiculous levels all day. I stay up at night now because that's the only time it is peaceful here and snatch a few hours of sleep while the nutjob next door is at his work. I get 2 3 hour sessions of music and one 4 hour session a day. Sleep patterns are broken to say the least. At least the nightmares have stopped though, dreams of being unable to escape. Bah!

I hope the new place is quiet and that you have great neighbors there Light! I'm glad you don't have the nightmares anymore. You should be able to sleep better in a couple of weeks. Hang in there my friend!

Oh, almost forgot the spirit cat reading of the day.

Balance

Meet Varo Tiptoe Sky. She can balance perfectly with an inner precision and assurance. She leans one way and then the other, constantly adjusting and learning where her center lies. She understands the dichotomies: work and play, togetherness and solitude, inner reflection and outward expression, striving and letting go, accepting and changing, freedom and discipline, reason and intuition, spiritual expansion and grounding - they go on and on. Let Varo help you to see what areas of your life are out of balance and what shifts you can make to return to a graceful equilibrium.

Not meaning to sound old and grumpy or anything but:

Scotland is warmer than the Netherlands!
I just googled.

(The series was a hugely popular comedy series in England due to a grumpy old man. One foot in the grave

Meldrew is seen as misanthropic by the many victims of his wrath and misfortune, but he is also depicted as an honest, likeable and sympathetic character who is admired for having the guts to stand up and say something about an exasperating situation.

Three weeks into Autumn ...

Climate change ... is sounding and feeling more real here in my part of Oz.

I didn't see it unfortuantely. I was much further South West (in Carrick) over the weekend for some R&R!
Saw it on the TV when I returned!

Nice.

PS - LOVE Victor from "One Foot In The Grave"!!!
