It can weigh on power lines and we get fallen branches and trees with high winds and accidents. I don't usually have a problem, only twice this year, but I figured I'd mention it in case I disappear tonight or tomorrow for a while.


Too bad you don't have one of those small electric heaters.

Meet Helix. He was always a little different from the other kitties. At first he felt lonely and alienated. I did not mean the candle is a source of heat because I have not lit it but it is technically the only source of radiant heat I possess right now. I come from the generation before central-heating was standard and at least my fingers work. (I'm wearing a blanket, it works)

The move is in the planning. Next Tuesday I sign the docs but the move might take a couple of weeks still. Need that loan to make it all work. Administration costs, other costs, costs costs, the compulsory fire-safety kit for 50 bucks. I will then have 3 I've never used.

But enough about me. How are you?

I think Saint Patrick recently happened. So I read, you undershtand....
