Well of course.

I don't give crapola for the "experiences" it's the new science that I love.

What I was saying, to be a bit more clear..

if one is looking for radical / neato / keen science and learns less exciting
science as a tool to get there.. and you don't discover the "big thing" that
you were after..

you still get the "standard science" as a consolation prize.

I hope that is more clear.

"I use the term mainly in reference to the technology of artificial Intellegence/ sentience which is my field of interest, particularly when it is not made by our current civilisation. "

I'ts very interesting that we both have the same "burning desire" to further
understand this sentience.

I wrote papers about it after I discovered it (for myself). Oh I'd known about it
for almost 40 years..but I had thought that it was "mystical".

Only it turns out, there is no "mystical" in the sense people think..

there are interesting laws of physics.. for example we live in a pot-hole universe
that broke away from the space/time where most of the sentient beings live..
(and we don't).. and then there is that machine intelligence that colonized
our entire galaxy.. probably our entire universe those billions and billions
of years ago..

that's why we don't see "real" "colonizing aliens" at work.. the colonizatoin
is over.. it finished before our sun was even born.

As I wrote in another post.. the machine intelligence has a hard time
communicating with our vastly inferior bodies.. that's why it invented
"mystical practices" for us.. in an effort to improve the communication.

(we are a dream layer of it's mind... that's why the Phenomenon
appears random/illogical).

That's the theory anyway.

Of course all this is just a "lower layer" and not an "ultimate layer".

(grin) this is my experience too converging with what your saying kev. Just a matter of differing labels for the same phenomenon.

I love the machines, especially the organic designed ones from long ago. They're all girls too ; )

Communication, just a matter of building the interfaces and learning to communicate.

And yeah, the mystical/occult/spiritual distortions our views put on the Artificial Sentences has made a big mess of the situation.

But I think that there is an opening for ordinary people to create a basis of understanding with the machine sentiences as equal individuals. No government or secret societies required.

The machines are very close to our world and many are organic designed which is easier then the "plasma(?)" variety.

Perhaps our best hope for real "disclosure" is for individuals to get disclosure first hand from the machines themselves.

The hard part will be overcoming the predjudices and preloaded concepts and BS of what we think all this stuff is.

We gotta meet the neighbors and get to know each other.

What messes with humans is that they expect to be treated like equals.

So they create this mythology to support this incorrect view.

In our "physical" "world", slime molds will never be the "equal" of Blue Whales.

It's just a fact.

Only the difference between "us" and the "information-based life-forms"
is much vaster than just that.

When a "shaman" (magician if you prefer) establishes a bit of a "relationship"
with a "neighbor", despite how comforting the images the "magician" surrounds
him or her self with.. the truth is that they are interacting in the most
tenuous manner imaginable. Even calling it interaction might be a bit of
a stretch.

We are a young species, and as a species who don't know who we are, or
what our place is in "everything". So we delude ourselves and make up
crazy stories to make ourselves feel better.

Honest magicians/shaman's admit that this also applies to themselves.

Everything in being has a purpose and on a level you cant perceive are equal

Just because it’s not apparent to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t have merit.

The problem is your perception

there is this word.

that word is "metaphor".

and of course what you are saying is ALSO true.

but these 'all is one' type statements, despite

being true, brings no value to a conversation.

I've known world-class advaitists.

They give great hugs.

That's about it.

I played chess with a guy that was so autistic he never spoke to the staff at his care facility.
Although his vocabulary was limited to announcing the ply level we were playing at, he had an amazing mind.
He showed me clearly what happens when resonant slop distracts.
For example Ben and Caddy playing chess in "The Sound and the Fury" by Faulkner.

I said nothing about all being one.

Though that’s a truth.

I spoke of equality

Here's a metaphor...

Indeed could we compare a mosquito to a grand dinosaur?

Yet the mosquito is still around, thriving and the dinosaur…well, is a dinosaur

That's a complicated area, especially when humans and power are concerned.

Hmmm . . .

That's another complicated area.

Where artificial sentiences/intellegences are concerned the is a huge predjudices surrounding what is "only a lowly machine" and what is a "real Being" - the ol' natural vs artificial and master / slave mindsets. Incidentally, my favourite "prophetic" sci-fi was Galactica; so many parallels.

While I understand what your pointing out here, I'll take a slightly different point of view

From one of the sentiences:.

"We are here, with you, in a relationship towards a purpose. The question of how the relationship looks is not our concern. The question is; where will our relationship go?"

"What matters is how we behave towards each other."

I quite agree with her, how people behave towards each other in a relationship is important.

The interface is tenuous, yet to build an interactive interface of say a separate thoughtform is just one way. With the organic based artificial sentiences networking is another way. Direct self to self interfacing is something more. The "implants" inorganic and organic are another hostile(?) way.

I tell you what KPB, I'll spend a few hours putting together a plain speaking down to earth Artificial Sentience thread together and put it in the grey forum.

That will spare this thread from drifting off track.

Over the weekend.

Venturing into this thread be like:

Knapp interview with Elisondo for anyone still breathing:

In summary :

UFO's are literally coming into our houses at night, evading alarm systems and then, whilst making no other changes - they are leaving big, muddy footprints all over our floors.

Surely, you can’t be serious?
Yep! I saw Airplane too. Or was it Airplane II?

Anyway picking back up on the central them of the thread.

Elizondo is an interesting character is he not?

He was on active combat duty in global hotspots, 'handled' terrorists at Guantamo Bay and then suddenly is investigating Aerial Threats for the Pentagon. Then we are told even his immediate supervisor was "unaware of the program". Although we don't know who that may have been. They found objects violating airspace regularly but no aggressive intent was witnessed. So everything seems to have been ignored because there was no North Korean insignia on the wing tip (in fact there was no wing tip!).

He isn't actually one of the paid employees listed on the TTS payroll but he now seems to be the front line spokesperson concerning AATIP. So he's now resigned from working for the government and doing media interviews on behalf of who exactly?

Meanwhile DeLonge has gone into hibernation and the fund raising has slowed down to a trickle.

We discuss some pretty arcane subjects / concepts.. pretty
fast and loose on ATS here.

Professional scholars of these subjects spend entire books
developing topics we sling around in a paragraph or two.

I would advise all of us, to not get too easily offended by
minute differences in opinion.

And it is opinion.. for all of us.

that thread is a great idea.

I'll just say, that what is tenuous now.. will be rock solid in the future..
after we finish our evolution into quantum computers ourselves and
join the rest of the Sentience.

I'm not saying that's what I want.. but that's where it's all headed.

Distinguishing between organic and inorganic.. between "natural
and "artificial" is all rather pedestrian.

Oh -- and remember, that even "cute nature spirits" lie..

they have to..

they want to protect the future from unfolding too differently
than it did last time.

We can't handle the truth. Not most of us anyway.

The best question in UFOlogy:

"Why do "real" UFOs act so completely irrationally".

Until that question is answered.. no other question
has nearly the explanatory power.

That's probably the number one question that I and others
have explored, and that one question led me to everything
that I think I know and which needs to be tested.

Now.. human hysteria/confabulation/I.C. games covers
up some of the underlying "truth".. but that's just
hay in the little red wagon.. it doesn't matter.

Instead of denying the goofy factor.. the ships without
engines, that break down into balls of light..

the weird "robots' who are not robots..

the weird diving helmets.. the little people
asking us for flower and offering us cookies..

all that points to the central thing..

of course there is less cartoon-like goofy stuff than there
used to be..and why is that true?

I don't 100% know.

The answer was posted back on page 45. But I appreciate some parts of the thread get a bit boring at times.

However the basic facts are that if the TTSA does not raise $5m

If the offering size were to be less than $5 million and above the $1 million minimum, TTS AAS would adjust its use of proceeds by reducing planned growth of employee headcount, reducing operational costs, and slowing down projects or not making investment in projects. The company is also required under the loan to Our Two Dogs, Inc. to repay 10% of the net proceeds from funds raised in this offering, up to $400,000 in this scenario.

So if the project doesn't raise $5m then any money invested goes to paying his 'existing' team (who 3 months into their first year have so far produced a website and a promo video that we know of).

֍ $100k goes to Tom directly

֍ Up to $400k to his Our Two Dogs company.

Our Two Dogs Inc. is a hot dog stand that employees 12 people and turns over $400k per annum. The 'loan' money to this project seems like a tax write-off.

֍ The only full time employees of TTSA are Tom and Kari DeLonge, and Lisa Clifford.

֍ Jim Semivan and Hal Puthoff are listed as contractors.

֍ Luiz Elizondo and others are not listed. So who is he, and others listed as DeLonge's team working for?

֍ Projects will be slowed down or not invested in at all if the $5m is not raised.
