Minor crime huh? It's jailable. lying. Who do we know who lies...like a rug???
Let the FBI question him. He can't get through a sentence without an untruth.
Lying to the FBI is a federal felony with a five year sentence in the slammer.

It's a minor crime compared to what ya'll were hoping for. It's a plea deal, so we don't know what he's telling them. But since some people keep bringing up Clinton, remember there were a bunch of plea deals in the Clinton investigation too, and nothing happened.

They would have requested records from the NSA since foreign nationals don't enjoy the same protections given US citizens.
Duh!

No, not "this"
Pence claims ignorance. That doesn't solidify ignorance or make it true.

Common sense says, Pence is lying because he can hear the inauguration theme.

Common sense says you completely made that up because you're not getting what you wanted out of this investigation.

One for today that is...
This doesn't mean he's done with Flynn and he's still going to take the chair and answer more questions.

I guess the FBI ran out of immunity deals during the Clinton email 'matter.'

This might be your best post ever.

18 USC 1001 is making a false statement / declaration (*lying to FBI).

A later federal law create whats called a "petty offense". It is the federal equivalent to a misdemeanor charge.

Federal statutes have consequences list and if you observe there is no minim jail term but there is a max. Anything less than a year is usually misdemeanor and anything over a year is a felony.

The conversation in question was with the FBI. He lied to them about that other conversation.

Oh baby are you trying to bring up the FISA court thing again?

Good luck with that.

Ive already developed an opinion of you and I fail to see how anything I could say to you would make any sense to you when you celebrate murder as an fu to trump.

Its a shame it took Mueller this long to charge Flynn when the evidence or wrongdoing went public back in February.

So when, exactly, do you see Pence being indicted? With all honesty, I don't see this leading to Trump.

If the FISA warrant was illegally obtained and as a result of that Flynn was unmasked then its extremely relevant as its fruit of the poisonous tree.

who unmasked flynn?
at the time of the conversations no crime was committed, so why was an american citizen in the united states unmasked?
who leaked this "sensitive intelligence information" to the press?

you are aware it is illegal for the nsa to spy on american citizens within the united states?

you are also aware that leaking intelligence information to the press is illegal as well?

That's fine. Your opinion is based off of false information. I wasn't celebrating anything and I wasn't joking. Try to base your opinions off of facts.

The reason it took this long to charge him is because they were investigating further to get as much dirt on him as possible. That way they could say hey you're facing these x many charges where you could face decades in jail, or you can cut a deal with us and tell us everything you know. That's what just happened. What he knows, we don't know yet. Could be a lot, could be not much.

and the federal oath of office requires a person "defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic".

The left and their attempt to drag a loyalty oath to a person into this is sad to say the east. Then again given the Democrats disdain for the Constitution its not surprising.

Well let's see now...after months of investigation, and millions of dollars, Mueller has managed to nail four people.

Three people are charged with crimes completely unrelated to Trump, or his campaign "colluding" with the Russian Government to influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential election.

One person has pled guilty to crimes related to trying to get the Trump Campaign to meet with senior Russian government officials (supposedly including Putin)...which the Trump Campaign declined to do - and told the young upstart involved to stop what he was doing, because he did not represent the Campaign (and was only a low-level volunteer advisor, on matters related to Greece).

Wow, Robert, good job. You are really hitting it out of the park!

What's next, indicting a witness for jaywalking on the way to a Special Counsel interview?
