I'm a secret stoner remember? I actually drive a black 2004 corolla and I don't have any band stickers or pot leaf stickers on it, but that's mostly because I don't want to be profiled by local police when I go to music festivals. Showing up to a Phish concert and there are three different cars pulled over by different police cars with hulla hoops on the roof and various band stickers on the back has taught me a good lesson there.

Mini van, toddler car seat, scattered with goldfish crackers, a couple sippy cups, numerous half empty bottles of water, and whatever crazy (nasty) stuff my other kids have left and hidden in the car——- makes for a good cover too!

Agreed. Police tend to target twenty-some year olds wearing tie-dyes. If you have kids they are certainly less likely to catch you. Just gotta maintain the speed limit and its an easy trip into the festival grounds.

I don’t wear much tie dye, 3 years past my 20’s, but- and according to your interview you don’t roll this way, my bag is hemp. Though I doubt my local law enforcement would realize that. I also use incense as my air freshener in there (not burning, just sitting over the vents).

Actually, my Facebook is used almost entirely to advocate for cannabis legalization, and people should be able to put the pieces together. Not a typical user, but it’s not hard to miss.

Yeah, I don't really put drug references on my facebook either. Cause anyone can check that, and last thing I want is an employer to check and then get ideas about drug testing me.

It's probably harder to recognize hemp clothing (especially one of those hemp handbags since it wouldn't be visible through the window); tie dyes are a big giveaway though. I usually wear a collared shirt then switch clothing when I get to the festival/show.

All valid points.

Currently, I’m not concerned with employers checking on me. But that could always change. In which case I would probably scale back on my activism. At the moment, I just don’t feel that I can keep quite. Too many people are either uneducated or have accepted the propaganda. If I can help educate one person regarding cannabis, then I’m happy. Plus, not having to worry about losing or missing out on a job makes it easier for me to be a voice, when there are so many who have their hands tied (like yourself), who could face very serious repercussions.

It's only a matter of time until it is completely legalized. At this point, trying to keep it illegal is akin to trying to fight the tide.

😂 I can’t help but laugh, because far too many of my conversations with others turn to cannabis legalization or religion! Which, as I told Geez, exploring religion is totally to enlighten myself and not impose on anyone else.

Admittedly, it’s not very many people.
