No, it does not. Wolf tastes sort of like rancid fatty beef, like fatty beef from an old stringy steer. If you soak it overnight in milk or buttermilk and then slow roast it, it isn't inedible and actually has a long grain to the meat which makes shredding/pulled roast for BBQ or burritos the best way to eat it.
