So no comment on the fact that you didnt even know that Hillarys team lied about not paying for the dossier, something that was discussed on the very first post on this thread, and has been a major story on this for days?

Nope, just more pee stories.

Sure you dont want to throw in Russian Pokemon just to bolster your credibility even more?

While you cry Hillary and expound on your fantasy tale...

We've established the credibility of the author who has a history of providing reliable intel and is respected by the FBI, CIA and British Government. Also that he was a Russia specialist for the Secret Intelligence Service (MI-6) which explains his Russian sources.

And this echoes that sentiment:

former CIA colleagues told me that he recognized the reports as the obvious product of a former British Secret Intelligence Service officer, since the format, structure, and language mirrored what he had seen over a career of reading SIS reports provided to CIA in liaison channels.

And as far as the content of the report, we have this...

A lot of the Steele dossier has since been corroborated.

Nice to see you finally admitting that much of the information in the Steele Dossier (which began life as the Fusion GPS dossier way before Christopher Steele ever was involved) came from Russian sources.

Someone who not only believes the pee story, but also believes we all secretly believe it too.

The pee story is the least important part and yet the author is so damn good, a former MI-6 agent respected by CIA, FBI, and British Intelligence, with a solid history of providing reliable intel -- He's so damn thorough that even the pee story has three sources!

A certain faction of the American right has been utterly corrupted by a concerted media effort of reality denial that has culminated in a very literal cult of Trump.

Some few that have deserved passing respect are now completely complicit with the most ridiculous amalgamation of lies and insanity we’ve ever seen. The right-wing Trump zealots have stopped being wacky cranks and are now becoming dangerous to all of us.

This dangerous movement must be opposed in every possible way.

What do you mean finally admit? You expect the female staffer at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow to be an American source?

Catch up to reality, my friend.

I will address your slate article.

The parts that it claims have been corroborates are a joke.

Here is what it says is the most obvious factor.

The most obvious occurrence that could not have been known to Orbis in June 2016, but shines bright in retrospect is the fact that Russia undertook a coordinated and massive effort to disrupt the 2016 election to help Donald Trump, as the U.S. intelligence community itself later concluded. Well before any public knowledge of these events, the Orbis report identified multiple elements of the Russian operation including a cyber campaign, leaked documents related to Hillary Clinton, and meetings with Paul Manafort and other Trump affiliates to reportedly discuss the receipt of stolen documents. Steele could not have known that the Russians stole information on Hillary Clinton, or that they were considering means to weaponize them in the U.S. election, all of which turned out to be stunningly accurate.

www.slate.com...

Shocking! Steele reported that the dems got hacked in the dossier, well before he could have known about it! Hence this is proof that the dossier was on to something.

Only that is a complete lie.

In fact, Steele was hired in part BECAUSE of the hack, hence he obviously knew about it.

In June, the tenor of the effort suddenly changed. The Washington Post reported that the Democratic National Committee had been hacked, apparently by Russian government agents, and a mysterious figure calling himself “Guccifer 2.0” began to publish the stolen documents online.

Mr. Simpson hired Mr. Steele, a former British intelligence officer with whom he had worked before. Mr. Steele, in his early 50s, had served undercover in Moscow in the early 1990s and later was the top expert on Russia at the London headquarters of Britain’s spy service, MI6. When he stepped down in 2009, he started his own commercial intelligence firm, Orbis Business Intelligence.

www.nytimes.com...

So your slate article is blatantly lying right off of the bat about the most important corroboration.

Big surprise.

So I thought the Russian lawyer that baited Jr. to the meeting -the whole 'proof' of the 'Trump colluded with teh Russians' claim- that she was a Fusion GPS agent.

Natalia Veselnitskaya

British tycoon to tell Senate Trump Jr Russia lawyer is linked to secretive group behind Steele Dossier
A British businessman says he will next week testify on Capitol Hill that researchers who helped produce the infamous Steele dossier, previously worked at the direction of the Russian lawyer who met Donald Trump Jr, and failed to declare they were doing so.

Fusion GPS was in the headlines earlier this year when it emerged its investigators, and a former British spy, Christopher Steele, had worked to produce a dossier of salacious, unverified claims about Donald Trump that suggested he had been “compromised” by Russian intelligence officials on a visit to Moscow in 2013. Mr Trump called the dossier “fake news”.

Bill Browder, the CEO and founder of Hermitage Capital Management, says he will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the company, which was founded by former journalists, previously worked under the direction of Natalia Veselnitskaya as part of a Russian-led lobbying effort in the US.

Radical Dem Worked For Russian Lawyer Who Met With Trump, Jr.
Radical left-wing icon former California Democratic Rep. Ron Dellums was a hired lobbyist for Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. June 9, 2016, the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Dellums, who represented liberal San Francisco and Oakland, Calif., is a long-time darling of left-wing political activists. He served 13 terms in Congress as an African-American firebrand and proudly called himself a socialist. He retired in 1996.

The former congressman is one of several high-profile Democratic partisans who was on Veselnitskaya’s payroll, working to defeat a law that is the hated object of a personal vendetta waged by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

For those who think TLDR I will sum this up.

"I am not going to address any of the facts here. Everyone who has questions about this dossier is a horrible cultist!"

Yep, former Dem cia director Penetta that is also calling for this to be investigated must also be a Trump cultist.

"opposed in EVERY possible way"?

Were you not implying in this post that the idea the information in the dossier came from Russian sources was "DELSUSION?"

REALITY

Fusion GPS "colluded with Russians" via Steele the same way the CIA colludes with Russia when it gathers intelligence from Russian Sources.

DELSUSION

an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder.

Keep reading, it's a long article.

Glad to see you're no longer questioning the validity of the source... Does that require a re-write for your little spin-off Hillary story?

I think the reason you find it all enjoyable is because this spin-off thread is just a game for you. Throw stuff at the wall, see what sticks, and see how much bullsh*t you can spin. It's clearly not something you really believe.

You should email the authors of the "dossier" and copy-paste that into it.

Just remember there are no honest politicians, and if you believe what they're telling you...well, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

This is probably true.

So imagine the power a sitting party would have if they can use the FBI as their personal political tool to survey people, investigate their entire lives, all without the opponent knowing. And seeing as how all of them have some dirt, there would always be something able to be brought up, while the party controlling the FBI would be immune from this.

I would basically lead to the indefinite holding on of power to whoever controlled the FBI.

In other words, the end of our country.

Yep, and that is what I have been preaching. Either we are a country of laws or we are not. If we are not a country of fair laws, it is over. Vigilante justice will be the next step. There are some capable people out there who are getting itchy to end the cabal. If they don't pull the plug on this the citizens may riot.

When did I ever say that I wouldnt read the article because the source?

I am afraid you have me confused with someone else.

I point out to you that right off the bat your sources claim that is the "most obvious" proof that the dossier is true is a blatant lie, and instead of admitting thats really bad, you say yeah but keep reading.

I will leave people to judge for themselves which one of the two of us is merely spinning BS.

Did DNC and Team Hillary attorney Marc Elias lead John Podesta and Debbie Wasserman Schultz into a perjury trap? According to CNN, the two testified to congressional investigators that they did not have any knowledge of the funding for the Fusion GPS

Financial details could be easily denied, whether true or not.

There has been great effort to insulate the upper rungs of this decaying ladder.

Yep, even Wolf Blitzer (who must be a Trump cultist) finds it ridiculous that Podesta was setting right next to the very lawyer who knew about the funding when he testified he didn't.

BLITZER: But the lawyer who was representing the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, Marc Elias, is sitting next to John Podesta. He was asked, “Do you know about the funding?” He says no. Wouldn’t it be his responsibility to at least whisper in his ear,” yes,” and at least tell him what’s going on? So if he wasn’t lying, John Podesta, he would be able to clarify all of that before the committee on a sensitive issue like this?

PANETTA: Well, it certainly makes the situation very awkward. If you’re testifying and saying you have no knowledge and the attorney sitting next to you is one of those that knew what, what was involved here, I think it does raise an issue that the committee is going to have to look at and determine just exactly who knew what.
