48k.

for those who haven't been there, that's 2800 a month after tax, before insurance.

1200 for rent in a # hole in these parts.
I eat well, at least 400 a month including enough booze to cope with work.
water, lights, internet, cell... easily another 350.

add a car payment, fuel and upkeep.

up here, we need heat half the year- oil is over $2 a gallon and even a tiny furnace burns nearly a gallon an hour- using electricity.

sure, everyone has an extra grand a month to spend on criminal insurance...

According to the Democrat Congress who wrote the ACA-ObamaCare...YOU ARE RICH DUDE!

Yep, trumpcare is really going to hurt.

Not if he can get the last few health insurance companies to throw in the towel. Then, ObamaCare will be 100% Medicaid for the poor and the sick.

Seems like they have this sort of thing solved in Canada for about 1/2 the cost plus Canada has a better life expectancy.

People act like what we had pre ACA was some sort of Eden. It's not somewhere I wish to go back to. Dollar Limits and pre-existing conditions were horrible ideas for those who get really sick and are in the most need of health insurance.

I'm not a great fan of the ACA , it has glaring faults, but it had some ideas that should stick around. Going back to the pre ACA Insurance isn't something I yearn for. The levels of coverage back then weren't very good for some plans should you actually get really sick.

Healthcare in the USA shouldn't be like this beheamoth that eats almost 20% of our GDP and income. Something has gone very wrong with our costs for Healthcare in America.

Our system was, and still is designed to pay into and not to take out of.

The US medical system is designed for one thing-make money and if sick people get taken care of, that is a side effect.

Yeah. I heard about that, and I'm happy to hear it. I don't support much of what Trump does, but I think this EO was definitely a step in the right direction.

You say that like that would be a good solution. Every American should have decent, affordable to their income healthcare. We need to do better than Obamacare and better than the so far proposed Trumpcare. Even he hasn't truly signed off on the Republican plan.

Amazing were arguing over crumbs. We poor fools are locked into conservative dogma that wants to maintain the wealth of the rich

All people want, save those brainwashed into conservative dogma, is simple cheap health insurance.

Trump and the GOP are preventing that. ITS THAT SIMPLE

Meanwhile their pretending there’s some kind of complexity there that isn’t there. Just to fool you.

People forget Trump is a billionaire who lacks empathy and lives on his ego.

This is a liberal problem just as much as a conserv one. Or do we forget already that a progressive dem gave us this goat screw ACA.
The US medical system is not better than other industrialized countries taxpayer funded, socialized medical systems but costs at the least 2X as much.

The union I am a part of has our own insurance company that we pay out of our package. It is stupid expensive. We pay almost $7 an hour into our insurance. The upside is that we don't have to really deal with the ignorance. We just are forced to pay for an over priced product that keeps getting worse.

Healthcare is a complete disaster and as long as big business keeps making the laws, then it is going to stay a complete disaster.

To be fair the Republican plan is horrible but Obamacare wasn't "cheap, simple health insurance" either. We all on both sides, deserve better than either option

The point is, that ObamaCare treats $23,000 people better than $48,000 people. It rewards being a member of the poor working class. ObamaCare did that even before Trump was President. THAT is what I'm complaining about.

So what's the point. Its suppose to be a system to help WORKING PEOPLE get reasonably priced health insurance.

When your boy Trump and the GOP cut the legs off of the program that won't get accomplished.

It’s an algorithim they have deliberately destroyed

Two corporate dems prevented national medicare in 2010. This is all they could get when the whole GOP didn't want to do anything.

How can you believe that after 7 years of promising better. I really believe that If there was a better Market system, somebody would have figured it out after 7 years.

you get a health insurance deductible as low as $500.00.

Just above the cost your average doctor visit, including simple diagnosis and prescription for the most common ailments.

That's a fact...you meet the $500 deductible very easily. Our local Emergency Room charges $800 the moment you walk in the door.

The systems "legs" are not going to last. The system needed to be corrected when Obama created the ACA, but he kicked the can down the road.

The ACA is doomed. The system was doomed before the ACA as it does nothing to address cost. There are systems around the world that does it better and much much cheaper.

Now they’ve wrecked the algorithim of the ACA and want to replace it with, something known as Trumpcare.

The formula of the Trump/GOP package can be called Voodoo health care.

Why: Because the formula in its algorithm DOESN’T WORK

IT DOESNT PRODUCE affordable health insurance

It's based on wishful thinking or magical thinking a very unscientific process

burn it to the ground, force the medical industry to start over in a land where money is earned instead of granted.

The hospitals are victimized too.

The average cost for a day in the hospital, in 2015 was $2,271.

That's highway robbery for a place to rest and sleep. (But sometimes, the TV is included!)
