Sorry. I don't think the government has enough integrity to distribute tax dollars to third party contractors and keep them in line. Its federal funding that gives medicaid, medicare, and ACA plans the power to screw doctors and pharmacies over the way they do now.

The day we have perfect people filling all three branches of the federal government is the day that I will trust a single payer system. Til then, I want the luxury of knowing that the money isnt all coming from the same criminal organization. Personally I don't even want my insurance plan anymore. I don't want them knowing my health info. I only keep them because of the Individual Mandate.

I agree wholeheartedly. Just look at an insurance statement. It is crazy.

Income = $50,000
Premium = $827 @ month

Income = $25,000
Premium = $.58 cents @ month

How's that for "Your Tax Dollars at Work", eh?

It's insane. My monthly premium would be more than my rent. And I wouldn't even be able to use it because I'd never meet the deductible.

So quality of life stays equal between 25k and 50k. Maybe those people at 50k should have worked harder if they wanted a good quality of life.
