Clinton didn't "deal uranium for cash." The mines in question were already the property of the Canadian company Uranium One.

CFIUS is a ten-member committee made up of Cabinet level Departments, of which State is one, however, Clinton did not vote on the U1/Rosatom merger. The group also includes the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which among other things is responsible for issuing licenses for export of uranium. The merger was approved in 2010 with the restriction that, aside from refinement in Canada, all uranium would remain in the US. There is no evidence aside from one comment from one spokesperson at U1 that any U has left the US.

You may be shocked to know that the US already gets 83% of its uranium from other countries, including Russia and Kazakstan.



The Uranium One mines are basically out of production at this point. Here is the production levels in recent years.



Uranium One sold a good majority of its holdings in 2016. Rosatom wanted the mines in Kazakstan, not the depleted ditches in the US.

I've provided citations for all these previously and will be glad to do so again if needed.

But I know Putin shares your opinion, so who knows.

After researching this, I found out that Hillary Clinton probably did not know about the FBI investigation as it concluded 4 years after the uranium deal and was not known by many people at all at the time.

In addition, there is no proof that the donation to the Clinton Foundation was a bribe explicitly meant to sweeten the deal. In fact, it is unlikely.

The story is an attempt to use circumstantial evidence to “prove” Hillary collided with the Eussians in order to take the heat off Trump.

I would recommend reading the article below to cleanse oneself of disinformation.

Russia used trolls as well as RT as part of its influence efforts to denigrate Secretary Clinton. This effort amplified stories on scandals about Secretary Clinton
