Usually the news media would be all over the neighbors, prodding them for any tidbits. Has any media interviewed the people within Paddock's town...Mesquite, NV.?

There have been many many interviews done, with neighbors in Mesquite and Reno, at the casino, and some of his girlfriend's relatives. The stories have been all over, but I think Daily Mail probably has most of them if you just want one place to look. Some are linked in this OP and the early pages.

Officials had previously said that gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nev., shot Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos after Paddock had started shooting at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival from his 32nd-floor hotel suite on Oct. 1

This new time frame should put the guard in as an accomplish or show the investigation is terrible. this time frame should have been know in the first hours unless he lied.

And the Sheriff said it's possible that Paddock checked in on Sept 25th.

I heard early on, that Paddock originally requested the 32nd. floor suite...but it currently occupied.
He was given another room for two days...and then allowed to move when it became available.

The stories will change a few times before they get the "official" report out and conclude what ever it is they are going to conclude.

It just seems as if this "maintenance worker" was just introduced to add a witness to Campos being where/when he was.

Some new info from latest update by Sheriff.

I heard this on another broadcast and searched for the video.

Air Force Maj. Charles Chesnut with the 99th Medical Group out of Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. When he saw the news of the event unfolding he rushed to the trauma center University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.

He gives an interview and explains how they were able to step up and help. Whats really interesting in the interview was he mentions a mass casualty response training they had just two days prior. The actual statement about the drill is at 3:58 of the video interview and he explains that in the training they took 100 victims and that was about what they took in the actual event. He says the training he had, helped immensely.

Training and drills in close time proximity to these events seem to be common.

How could this detail not be known within days of the massacre??? This was a freaking Casino. Cameras everywhere. Hundreds of witness videos...

It is easy to get wrapped up in all the nuances and yet it still doesn't add up... and it never will if the story keeps changing. Now I want to compare the latest narrative of the time between when the shooting ended and when they blasted the room. But my basic theory isn't changing yet. I think the biggest reason for the fabricated and re-fabricated narrative is to protect an ongoing investigation. Or maybe "operation" would be a better word than investigation.

I don't believe for a minute that Paddock did this. And I don't believe anyone did it alone.

It's an ever-evolving story.

Whatever facts have to evolve...that's where the weak spots are and they need to be investigated.

So...why was Campos suddenly wounded before the first shots were even fired at the crowd?

The glaring hole is there, we need to walk through it.
