Hello shed people. Ill be posting a short story recollecting a harrowing trip in mexico as a kid called : That Time My Dad Insisted We Drive To Nayarit.

Driver, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Brother. I'm sure if he hated you at one time, that all of that is forgotten and he now looks down upon you with love. HUGS!

All though I seem to sense your mourning isn't for a loss but for what could have been??
Hate is an opponent that is hard to live with.
Depending on which side of it one stands on there are choices one has to make.
Hate or Hated.

A bug? Oh no! Pixies, quick, bring some chicken soup and a stiff drink for our dear Wis. I shall get the fire lit and plump up the pillows on the couch. Oh yes, and I shall bring a warm quilt or ultra soft blanket.

Ah yes some nice soup.
But best of all would be if we all sat by the fire and told little tales.
We could pass around lovely dishes and I would drift into sleep, listening to your gentle voices. under your quilt, dreaming of dragons flying and donuts in abundance.

Hi Driver,
I don't talk much about this but...
I also had a big brother.
He passed away when I was 21. He was just 23.
He (almost) always treated me like a piece of dirt on his shoe, but I knew that he had my back if I ever needed him.
Strangely, I only really have fond memories of him now. The nasty stuff fades with time.
I don't visit the cemetery as often as maybe I should, but I do like to go there when I have something to "think through". I'll maybe talk (out loud) to my big brother about a decision I have to make, and somehow... I seem to get to the right conclusion.
I even shared a beer with him when I had big news to share! Something we rarely did when he was alive.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I know what it's like.
You will look back and smile one day... even if it's with a sense of irony!

Dual = Consisting of Two parts or sides. (Dual personality, Dual Carriageway etc)
Duel = Pre-arranged contest. (I challenge you to a Duel, The Duel was over quickly etc)

I feel helpless and frustrated due to Las Vegas. And i was just being so happy for the city because they got a team to play in the National hockey league. And now this madness. And i would like to stop it, just like all of you would like to stop it.. but what is there for me to be done? a dude from southern Finland with a laptop?

Maybe, but that practically always gets me into a real mess so i don't want to pray on behalf of others if i somehow mess up their stuff too.

I could really use some good news for a change. Or something overly cute from you, shed writers, that has elves and pixies and magic.

Yet another music legend gone. Loved the song he did with Stevie Nicks. I got a smile and nod from him once when he was an opening act for another band. I was up on stage and off to the left where people in the audience couldn't see me. He happened to be looking over my way for a minute and a sweet smile and nod. RIP Tom and good journey.

Oh...gawd, so sad that you lost a Brother Gordi. Big warm hug for you! It's horrible losing family members as many of us know. None of us are alone.
