Since you keep the Shed and it's realm going for so long, I couldn't stay away to long. Just out and about with my own adventures, so, sorry for the long absence. I've missed this place, but as usual, life interrupts. Right now my back isn't so good and I'm waiting on help to get rid of a crapload of tables from a wedding and reception we had on the property. We had over 400 people here! It took all summer to get ready for it and over two weeks with clean up and once the tables are gone, I'll consider the ceremony over! (And no! I didn't get married...that requires hugs and stuff like that. Hehe)

I need these tables gone as they are cluttering up the Shop, and they are not the only thing cluttering it up, but the biggest thing. I need to get organized before the month is out, along with reorganizing the Garage (7 car) and stack firewood in there for the winter. I feel like those folks on "Alaska: The Final Frontier." Always busy.

But you keep on being you and I promise to swing by more often, OK?

Do you like rap music? Your username gives me that impression, i hope you are not offended because i asked, people who do not like rap and have misunderstandings about the genre as a whole, usually do not appreciate if i am mistaking them as rap fans.

No, not a fan of it nor am I offended. I usually do the offending for some reason. I guess it's my talent. I earned the name playing Rugby for my unit's team while stationed in Europe. Before that it was Troll, LOL, before it became a bad thing, I'm kind of built like a fire plug.

Fin, oh yes safe in here with all our magical beings and creatures. Yes, yes. We can even handle Mason and his minions. LOL

Dawg/Doug, missed you so much my old friend! I am looking forward to having you back 'home' with us!

Hello Augustus and the French bunny and anyone popping in. GAH, multi tasking again and getting all behind in here.

Gordi, hope to see another story entry from you and Tom.

OMG, Tom, thank you so much for the music vid of yours and the one with you and Gordi, perfect!!!!!!! I wanted to put them in the opening post, but my time was pressed and I was hoping one of you would include the vids. I think I mentioned it in Shed 16 and asked to have you guys post them.

I saw Chirp earlier, hello beauitiful friend!

Sheye, I got to read your story and listened to the vid at the same time. Wonderful story telling dear girl! Keep up the good work and don't put yourself down. You are doing a fine job, a fine job indeed!

I don't mean to ignore anyone. Haven't even eaten yet today and busy. For someone who has no life, I sure can get busy at times. LOL

ETA: HUGS for Dawg because he says he hates them, but we all know how wonderful they are. So there!

Tdawg and Anteros stepped through the portal and beheld a old home that was…new.

“There are a lot more denizens here than before. This place has grown. I like it.” Anteros said.

“You’re an old softie Anty, you like almost everything new,” TDawg replied, “And they’re not Denizens, they’re People.”

Anteros chuckled, “Now be play nice, you don’t know everyone here anymore…they may even try to hug you.” Anteros broke out laughing knowing how much TDawg hated hugs.

Tdawg shuddered. It would be nice to renew old acquaintances, but he could deal without the hugs. Handshakes, High Fives he could deal with, but hugs? He shuddered again.

Tdawg glared at Anteros, “Don’t you be encouraging them Anty, I’m just here for a short time and I have to get back to do some more work. I just want to say Hi and let my old buds know I haven’t forgot them.”

“Ho-Ho, you may just well make some new friends as well while you’re here.” Just then a Fairy flew up and kissed Anteros on the nose. “Ah! Get away from me! Where is my weapon?!”, he grabbed for his belt.

“That’s a fly swatter Anty and you are not to use it on Fairies, Pixies or anything else smaller than you. They live here too, ya know. Besides, they’re small, what can they do to you? Besides, this realm is the only realm you have form, back home, you’re my muse, so appreciate the moment.”

It was Anteros’s turn to glare at TDawg, “They tickle me. I despise being tickled. And now you call me your muse!? Just the other day you called me your conscience. I thought I was your friend. I’m starting to have a hard time fathoming your thinking. Most times you’re stuck in the other realm and then you come here and you’re different.”

“Well you should know the old saying, “When in Rome…” TDawg quipped. “And now you know why I don’t like hugs.”

Anteros looked puzzled, “When in Rome, I did as I pleased and I don’t see how tickling and hugs are the same. What’s your point?”

“You did as you pleased in Rome and it ended up getting you cursed for eternity as a spirit and stranded on an island until the good people here freed you, so you owe them one and regardless of whether tickles or hugs makes us uncomfortable…well, that’s our problem. How come you have no problem with Dragons?”

“Dragons are noble creatures and…”

“Really! Noble!? All of them? I seem to recall a incident or two where they weren’t so noble. In this realm, just as in all the others, there is good and bad. It’s just that in this realm, the good for the most part outweighs the bad…so that’s a good thing, dontcha think?”

Anteros looked sheepish. “Well Dragons for the most part are fairly large, so I try not to antagonize them, they can be cantankerous when provoked.”

TDawg laughed and slapped Anteros on the back. “C’mon, let’s go greet old friends and maybe make new ones. A new adventure awaits us my friend!”

Anteros rolled his eyes. “That’s what I’m afraid of,” he muttered. He squared his shoulders and took a deep breath. “Let’s be off then.”

And together they strode off into the forest while a flight of Fairies swarmed around them in greeting.

“GET OFF ME!”

Discreetly hands TDawg a ginormous fly swat and tip toes away whistling innocently.....

If you have to travel the path of sorrow, don’t travel too far
There is always star of the night, Night Star

Sometimes life can throw you a real swirl
One knows that… Jacygirl

Oh we ran out of beats, what a bummer
But to the rescue comes Gordie The Drummer

And to stir up the elf-soup that contains all of us
There is always AugustusMasonicus

And then there is Lagomorphe or “Lags”
Shed is the place to be to get rid of emotional baggage bags

Gordi bent over and pulled his sword from the back of the black-robed corpse on the ground before them. It let out an unearthly "hissss" as the bundle of fetid rags collapsed in on itself making the gathered shed-folk wretch in unison at the first hint of the putrid stench that engulfed them.

A dark cloud of noxious fumes spread out from the lifeless form, then slowly... steadily started to gather once more as it bubbled and rolled back towards the clearing, before dissipating into the shadows of the underbrush.

The moans, cries and howls of the remnants of the beastly horde could be heard echoing among the trees as the Dragons swooped upon them to finish them off.

Then, all-at-once there came a sudden and serene sense of calm as silence once more prevailed.

The gathered friends looked at one-another, checking for signs of injury or harm, but thankfully... miraculously... all seemed well.
Gordi's eyes finally came to meet Nightstar's and the two instinctively fell together in a long & firm embrace.
No words were needed as he raised his hand and wiped a solitary tear of relief (or was it joy?) from her cheek.
But, the moment was unfortunately interrupted by the sound of a rather awkward "cough" from beside them...
They turned as one to see Pudge The Dwarf, second son of Madigan of Cavernock staring up at Nightstar.

"Might I be addressing The Lady 'Raine of the Shedlands, keeper of The Ellsmerian Scrolls, sister of the Elven Council?
My name is Pudge, Pudge Pudnock, and I have travelled a very long way to find you. We need to talk..."

YeeHaw! And even a couple of Woo-Hoo's besides. A couple of hours ago, some of the wedding party showed up to FINALLY take all them damn tables back to where they belong!
Hope I don't hurt in the morning since there were so many. 52 of 'em and weighing 80 lbs apiece. PHEW! I wasn't going to do all that work myself as I had already sunk $$$ and time and effort since April into their shindig. I pray the marriage lasts and wish them well.

I can now get back to building and organizing my garage and Shop (Technically, they're my sisters, but I'm the one who uses them.) So during beer breaks, I can start swinging' by again. I'll be seeing y'all!

Once again the peace was restored to the realm of wonder and light. Night bit her bottom lip trying not to cry, but tears spilled forth anyway. She held Gordi tight, comforted by his embrace. They had shared many battles and adventures through the years and their friendship she held dear. She sighed with relief and joy and then she smiled up at him.

Interrupted by a cough from the little dwarf, she turned her head and listened to him speak. "I am known by many names here, but it seems you know of me. Pleased to meet you Pudge Pudnock. How can I help you?"

Yep it was one hell of a shindig. Much food and libations were consumed. The celebration lasted over 24 hours and I was wiped out at the end of it all. Seemed like I was non-stop taking trash to the Shop to store till trash day (On that day the Shop smelled like a slaughterhouse...PHEW! Talk about stinking! My truck and trailer were filled to the point I was afraid we wouldn't make it to the dump site without spilling it all over the road.)

During the summer, I and others cut down about 60 trees, some quite large, Oak, Maple and quite a few Pine and Birch just to make a clearing for the ceremony and grind the stumps. Plus I had to fill a HUGE hole (depression) and level that out, then plant grass. The end result though is quite gorgeous.

Plus reorganizing the Shop and building new shelves there so I could put all my sisters seasonal decorations there and my tools from the Garage. My sister is a decorations freak and all her seasonal stuff that she has accumulated fill a shelving unit 16 ft long, 10 ft high and 30 inches deep. (I secretly call her a hoarder, but she’s organized about it at least.) My tools may take up a quarter of that, but of course I had to build another shelving unit for them because there was no room.

Also built a 12x16 Gazebo and added a bar to that as well. It’ll get wired for electricity next spring most likely.

And even after all that, it only took two days to clean up the property with the exception of them damn tables.

I gave myself a pat on the back for a job well done, Hehe.

So, yea. I’ve been pretty busy this year…well, actually since I moved back home.

One of the great things about all this though is that I keep accumulating more power tools! Ooo-Ooo-Ooo!
