I'm not sure you've thought it through.

That seems to be a common theme these days.

To all the leftists who think this won't affect the NFL, time to put your money where your mouth is.

I will bet $5 against anyone who is willing to take this bet.

I guarantee NFL viewership will be down 5% by week 5.

What's a leftist, in your august opinion?

Let's define our terms, shall we?

I mean ... you do know, right?

Ones like you who deny the truth when it is staring you in the face.

So .. leftists are anyone who disagrees with your unsupported opinions?

Got it; count me as a very very STRONG leftist then.

Your description seems very limited though; I'm not sure you've thought it through.

So put your money where your mouth is.

You think the NFL will not be affected by this.

I have a paypal. If I lose $5 to you.

Indeed, or a total lack of thinking at all.

Seems to be a lot of pat responses gleaned from their media sources.

Any evidence for that? Or is this another in your long line of posts of pointless, baseless, off-topic nonsense?

Probably because it wasn't evidence but more vapid opinion that along with sniping comprises 99% of what is posted under your username.

Well he DID give statistical evidence but it is only for this past weekend. I imagine that this controversy will affect ratings in some regard. It's not going to be unnoticeable, but to pretend like the ratings slump is ONLY attributed to this controversy is absurd. NFL ratings have been in decline for a while now. This is only fuel for the fire.

The proof is in sponsers asking for meetings to discuss. DirrcTV and Anhueser Busch don't want their brands impacted.

Oh my goodness, an actual link to information!

Yes, it seems that DirectTV is offering some refunds to dissatisfied customers. I believe that's their standard policy, isn' tit?

No numbers though, and the company didn't comment. What exactly do you think this proves again?

Principles be damned!

If there is an actual impact, you'll see owners demand that players stand for the national anthem.

If there isn't an actual impact?

You won't.

Easy!

Colin isn't being hired because he isn't a good qb and his agent is asking too much.

I am aware of that.
But the talk in the news has been, for quite some time now, that Colin Kaepernick was being blackballed by the owners because of the kneeling..... AND the PIG socks.

The story that I heard on the radio yesterday was that they have a no refund policy on the Sunday Ticket plan.

That may have been inaccurate, or their stance may have changed from yesterday. I believe the news blurb on the radio came from FOX News.
