Right-wing Conservatives - fundamentalist Muslims: no difference.

I wouldn't have an issue you with it unless you claimed it was irrefutably true and offered no supporting evidence.

I thought you were against sweeping generalisations.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess. Let's all make sweeping generalizations! Yay! It's fun!

Where's your supporting evidence this is a big thing liberals are working toward?

And from the OP:

All the usual insane liberal anti-male boilerplate; non-inclusive, offensive to children that dont have fathers bollocks,

Is this not you lending credence to the idea that this is a widely shared belief by liberals?

Cue conservative outrage about something that really doesn't matter. LOL

If you want to celebrate father's day then just do it.

Just like there are literally hundreds of special days and months during the year, like bosses day, breast cancer awareness month, etc. Who cares what a liberal wants to do about Father's day.

Don't be a special snowflake who needs a safe place to hide. LOL

Cue an angry conservative that will tell me to or ask me why I'm not outraged at a similar thing on the other side of the political spectrum. Please tell me which thread to go to and I'll post.

HA! so its sexist to say someone is ugly? what planet are you from again?

As to your second question ... sometimes I wonder I truly do.

As to your first ... I responded to a poster who stated outright that a woman's opinions meant nothing because they didn't like her looks, i.e. she was ugly.

Do try to at least feign attention to the facts here.

No, because as I have repeatedly pointed out, I made no such claim. I wrote an appraisal based on the reported content in the article, and the apparent stereotypical people that are reportedly espousing and rallying for the campaign featured in the article.

Your appraisal is painting with the same broad brush the article does, which you're now claiming you aren't doing. I'm just curious, do you really believe all liberals want to outlaw fathers day?

How about you start one of your own to preen and primp on.

Hmmm. What do you mean? Not sure I understand. Please elaborate. Is everyone who replies to a thread on ATS "primping and preening" or just me? Or do you mean, everyone with an opinion that doesn't align itself with yours?

Yes, I've finally seen the light that conservatives are all a bunch of trailer trash deplorables. I have resisted that generalization for a long time, but no more! The light is good.

Tossing in "boilerplate" seemingly at random is about 50% of the OPs argument style.
