It's back to a cat 5 again-4 or 5 still horrific. Said to sustain or maybe pick up more speed between Fl and Cuba.

Track shows a cat 5 shifted to the west.

That's confirmed Violet thanks !!!

That shift to the west just makes it worse, the storm surge is pushed by the east side and the most damaging winds are also on that side.

Yeah. That's the eye. The storm is wider than the peninsula though. By a bunch.

After Wilma, I had a couple in my pond.

I called the wildlife people. They told me not to worry, that they will leave shortly.

They did.

Hardly any point in focusing on the predicted track. It encompasses the entire peninsula

im in naples fl where irma has its gps set to, and besides gators we have to worry about pythons which have agressively invaded the everglades.

Seeing on social media that hurricane Jose has been upgraded to a category 4, nearly a category 5 and warnings for Barbuda, Saint Martin and Saint Barts.

Yes Jose is a cat 4 and very close to being a cat 5 now. Two mph off of that upgrade I do believe . 155mph currently. 157 is cat 5
