This is a list of earlier model runs, both were showing it go up the East Coast initially....but still pretty darn good given the time frame. The Euro was a little more east initially.

They're all pretty choppy but I'll take your word for it.

I still think Florida is going to get clobbered.

For sure. If the latest Euro holds true, Tampa will get hammered. It has been a long time since they have had a big one. Tampa Bay is vulnerable to very bad surge, a wobble west would mean more surge, east would mean less surge.

Less is better than more, in this case. But some is worse than none.

Predicting location and degree of right turn is beyond mans ability.

No.
I'm pragmatic.

Wish it were possible to bet on irma not turning as predicted.

You wish that you could bet on human suffering?
Seems in conflict with your user name.

Is that like a precog thing, now we can predict the path of storms based on poor media reporting....what should we make the odds ?

Sure, it's CNN but what is fake about that? US and Euro hurricane centers show projections of it hitting. Rush Limburger-cheese evacuated after saying Irma was fake news.

They omitted the word projected.

"Barrelling towards florida" is a lie.

Fake headline.

Do you really think it wont turn and completely miss Florida? Even if it turns late, that means the panhandle will get it.

The computer models have done well so far, what makes you think they will wrong now?

Thats a good question. Just a simple hit vs miss would suffice.

Then what is it doing?

You know I wish it would so it wouldn't affect people, my family and friends are all in the path.

Seems to be a little too late for much of a turn due to it's size: see here
