yes if we are talking about sitting in front of a target and taking a shot but when you add in the stress factors in a combat scenario the outcome MAY change

marksmanship and operating within a combat unit are not the same

Completely thought this thread was about Trump's ban on transgenders in the military and proof of that...mixed-gender doesn't sound like women. That would be pretty odd if women shot better than men...

In wwII russian women were some of the deadliest snipers around .

Looks like back to the drawing board for the theory that women arent as capable as men at war .

If all the women serve in battle, and get killed, like many men do, who the hell do they think is gonna be left to have children and continue the blood line and birth more fighters? Men can't do that. Yep, girls are awesome. I know, I have 4 of my own-10, 15, 19, and 40 . My wife and daughters are bad-ass. But if they get knocked off in combat, that's 4 less females to produce more soldiers, see? So stop being selfish, ladies, and start playing for the team

In the past, women have been mostly used in support roles. I am sure there are many women that surpass men in marksmanship but when placed in a situation of hostility they react differently than men.

Overrated Vasily Zaytsev had over 400 kills in a three month. Surpassed all female snipers even though they were doing it for over a year. The females averaged 30 a month Zaytsev 140. The women snipers had a tendency to sit and wait until some one strayed off and killed one at a time. Male snipers would take on entire squads getting in multiple kills.

From my experience in range control I'll say guys could score better. However women were much easier to train. They didn't have bad habits and would always use what they were taught. Males tended to revert back to bad habits they had learned. Women were easier to train the way they should shoot without preconceived notions. The only problem I noticed was they had a perception problem guys would see a range with multiple targets in a 3d way. Meaning they were better at judoing distance. But I quickly learned saying target at 400 meters and the women seemed to do better then guys.

As part of the research experiment, 400 Marines — 300 male, 100 female — trained for combat together and then went through a simulated deployment...
