As part of the research experiment, 400 Marines — 300 male, 100 female — trained for combat together and then went through a simulated deployment, with every aspect of their training measured for in-depth analysis.

“All-male 0311 (rifleman) infantry squads had better accuracy compared to gender-integrated squads. There was a notable difference between genders for every individual weapons system (i.e. M4, M27, and M203) within the 0311 squads, except for the probability of hit & near miss with the M4.

Basically what it comes down to people is that women's minds and body are not designed for this. As much as I love women, and trust me I do I have to face the facts at some point and realize that men and women are built very different both mentally and physically. It's not a bad thing. It's a good thing because I don't want to date/ marry a woman who acts like a dude. I want a woman who is a woman damnit.

Call me sexist for pointing out the obvious and having more traditional values.

I don't call you sexist, but I think there is not yet a word created for this - maybe right now 'confused'. If a woman takes massive doses of testosterone then she will become a male-like being. Is that not true?

No it's not true as a brown belt in jiu-jitsu I promise you there is no way a woman can become manlike

if you look at competitive combat sports the women's division starts and finishes at WAY lower weight classes and there is a reason for that

it's just facts, reality, cold hard reality

Sorry, but you are forgetting sniper and intel...as usual.

The simple answer is to set the standards for what they need to be on all skills and for all physical feats and take anyone who can pass.

If you find a woman who can do it, then let her in, but you likely won't find very many.

Omg, trying to tip toe carefully and tell my wife that men are better than women at things and viceaversa is painful...

I say the same thing, it's good that we are different. Otherwise, we are robots lol.

My favorite to tell her is... I'm not only ill equipped, but mentally not fit to push out two children like she has. She's a woman. And that's something I can't do. Nor ever will.

Sure men and women can grow up to be the same professions, but at some point, in the law of averages will show who is better and where as we progress in time.

I read the link and can see your point but....
History is filled with stories of women in combat, not from the USA though.
I remember reading about some Russian women during WW2, that helped put a hurting on the Germans.
But those might be extraordinary cases.
I would imagine that in a real fight or die firefight, something clicks inside you while you try to survive but it remains to be seen if that will happen with US women combat soldiers.
I am not disputing the findings, I just think there is no way of knowing for sure until the SHTF and they go in to combat.
