In the end Trump won more states and by extension, more electoral votes = He won and Clinton lost = get over it.

Of course he won the electoral college?

Who said otherwise?

Everyone seems to agree on that.

It is Trumpkins that seem to not be able to get over the fact he lost the Popular Vote by a few million.

It is what leads to threads like this looking to excuse his loss.

It seems like Democrats who keep bringing up an irrelevant nationwide vote 9 months after the election, and you keep having to be educated on how the elections work. As for looking for an excuse for his loss (?)... well, when I see pictures of the Oval office, it's Trump behind the desk and I have some rather lovely vivid memories of election night of the left in meltdown. If that is what you call losing then you might want to reevaluate your methods of assessment.

lol really? I know of no one to complain about the popular vote ever until this last election as the left screamed for sweeping changes to go to the popular vote with Hillary's loss. Popular vote means jack and this was a great example as to why we have electoral college. I think most on the right understand we are a republic and not a democracy that would be majority rule. Majority rule would basically give many states zero say as states like CA dictate what they wanted by shear population that would destroy our 50 united states formed in a union republic....

Man it is so funny how people swing things around lol geez

???

I know how elections work?

Trump won the electoral college, which is how the US elects Presidents, but he lost the popular vote by a near unprecedented margin, which led his (and his supporters) fragile ego to invent conspiracies about millions of illegal voters to obfuscate the fact that the majority of the US populace does not want him to be President.

You seem to be the one confused?

And if people did research they would know Florida did not win Bush the election - W. Virginia did. During that election Democrats relied on the fact W. Virginia was a solid blue state. Had Bush not been able to pick the state off from the blue column, Florida would not have a difference.

Once again Dems lost because they took voters for granted.

Actually it does. It is a break down county by county and who carried that county. We dont use a national popular vote. We have 51 individual popular votes (50 states and DC). Clinton won the popular vote in all the states she carried and Trump won the popular vote in all the states he carried.

Voters from California and New York dont get to nullify the votes from people in other states. The electoral college was put in place specifically to prevent populace states from running over everyone else.

In the end Trump won more states and by extension, more electoral votes = He won and Clinton lost = get over it.

Slight correction - it's actually 53 popular votes. 48 states with one popular vote, Maine and Nebraska with two + DC.
Trump won the most popular votes with ease. I think it was something like 32 vs 21.

Maine and Nebraska split their electoral college votes based on the state vote. It is still one vote. 50 states and DC.

Then why is it folks like trump and yourself making up embarrassing conspiracies about several secret million illegal voters?

The left fully understands how elections work.

The "right" has a very fragile ego and engages in BS to shelter themselves from being unliked by a margin of millions.

I mean seriously...WTF you guys still whining and lying for?

One definition of "Loss" is when and idiot wins the Whitehouse, but is such a fragile snowflake that he invents an embarrassing lie to excuse his loss in the popular vote...and his snowflake supporters buy in rather than acknowledge the majority of the population did not want him as President.

Another might be a President's utter failure to deliver on his campaign promises.

Not a conspiracy and had you read the info in this thread you would see thee evidence provided supports the claims being made. Ironic the left scream about vote integrity only to refuse to do anything about it or to cooperate with the commission established to look into it.

The latest -
Florida Elections Worker: "I Was Fired For Witnessing Possible Absentee Ballot Fraud"

The supervisor just went to court in the past few months dealing with this issue. She and her staff were caught "replacing" "damaged" absentee ballots - in a closed room - with no monitors, illegally opening up ballots.

Although im not sure what any of this has to do with the op thread. Unless you are trying to distract.

Of course the "popular vote" is irrelevant to those so desperate to cover up the fact that Trump only received 46% of the national vote.

Most people who voted didn't vote for him. Yet, you're all so "surprised" that his approval/disapproval numbers are in the toilet.

Even if he hadn't proven himself to be the absolute embarrassment and bumbling incompetent that he HAS shown himself to be, MOST AMERICANS DIDN'T WANT HIM AS PRESIDENT.

You dredge up the Electoral College like a holy relic, when, in 2012 you were, much like Donald Trump, talking about how UNFAIR it is.

One would be disgusted by these levels of denial and dishonesty if they hadn't become normal and expected.

and Clinton only received 48 percent. So a majority of voters didnt want her either but since we use an electoral college and not a popular vote she lost.

Get over it.

And yes...Trump from 2012

"We should have a revolution in this country!” (Nov. 6)

“The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!” (Nov. 6)

“More votes equals a loss…revolution!” (Nov. 7)
