For those that don't leave their couch, there is a wall. Lot's of wall. Watch the doc "The Fence" to learn more. As far as what Trump says, or how he does it, who gives a rat's tail. Everyone voted for building it, even beloved Obama and Hillary. Let's just get it fixed where it needs it. I don't care as much about the people coming here for better life as I do the heroin and meth traffic.

Yep. Trump knows his followers. The idea that Mexico was ever going to pay for the wall was preposterous from the beginning, but lots of Trumpsters believed it, as Trump knew they would. But when you sell crap to people, you obviously don't have to care about backing it up. It's all about the "illusion" of backing it up, especially when your followers will forgive you for everything, including looking them dead in the eye and lying to them.

We (collectively: media, political campaigns, etc.) have spent more TALKING about the "wall" than it would have cost to build the wall.

Aside from WaPo presenting the illegally-obtained transcripts out of context, I don't really care how the wall or enhanced border defense is paid for.

No, the immigration-related reason that people voted for Trump is because he took the issue of illegal aliens seriously and had plans to slow it down and start deporting the problem.

Building the wall was signed by Bush "W". And it was shut down by Homeland Security for cost.

It's not Trump's wall - - never was.

Until a new effective plan is approved - - it's not going to happen.

Here is the thing

Nobody voted for Trump because of Mexico paying for a wall, absolutely nobody, except maybe a few low IQ people that were duped into voting for Trump by there carer

There frustration was aimed at illegals and criminals gangs from Mexico, it was a metaphor

It was more of a campaign slogan, a rally cry to unite over, there were dozens of reason it was a popular policy and worked, but none of them, absolutely none of them was because Mexico was going to pay, that was simply the butt of the joke

It never really mattered WHO paid for it, people just wanted it, because of all the problems which come from illegal immigration

Illegal immigration costs the US taxpayers 113 billion per year

The wall? A one off 10/20 billion with a few million per year maintenance

The new version of the wall is to be possibly to double as a solar farm

So in actual fact... Going with that, the wall will actually be making money and covering its own costs

This isn't even news worthy, in fact it just highlights how little the liberals have left, complete desperation, Infant like digs and taunting

It's hard to find Nixon supporters these days, but there were many roaming around years after his scandals ended. It'll be the same way with Trump.

Our children's generation will look back on the Trump years and characterize them all with a catchphrase something like "I am not a crook."

What will Trump's catch phrase be?
