I'm not avoiding anything...I said human bodies were designed to mate with the opposite sex...I already follow the rules. You said I should be gay for a gay for a day to prove it is a choice when I already know it is. I am following the mother nature rule book and have no desire to be gay....by choice and science....

Gay people have no science to back their choice so they are left with just choosing to be gay....Nature didn't make them to breed with eachother.

I never meant my thread to be ignorant and hateful. I don't care who marries who that's their choice and go for it. My point is over the course of a decade everything has been given to them that was originally requested and now that they have it we have to move on to more absurd and ridiculous requests to now suit the needs of the few.

Many protections in a republic are meant for the "few" who might encounter disproportionate adversity in the face of the "many". That's the entire point of a republic. It's to protect the few from the many so that all may thrive in the same society and not be harmed by mob rule.

Let's look at interracial marriage (only because it's already been brought up). How many interracial couples were around back then? Not many. But we moved mountains to secure that right because that's who we are supposed to be. The slippery slope arguments about allowing black people to marry white people leading to being legally able to marry goats never happened. It was all fear designed to keep a particular segment of society under a foot. Some people need others to be under their feet.
