His message was that both sides need to tone down the rhetoric, which I agree with.

Bit for me, it seems a little early to cite this as political rhetorical terrorsism. Might want to wait until more facts come out.

But as far as the message, he is right both sides need to be more civil.

What if this was an attempt to cover over the news story of Seth riches murderer being found in the river?

Guy armed to the teeth, running around shooting people indiscriminately....and gets taken alive.

Due to federal employees being involved this is being turned over to the FBI.

The rhetoric of the Democrats is creating this atmosphere of violence. They openly call for the death of the President, give a platform to mock beheadings of political figures on national television, hold nightly plays in Central Park depicting the assassination of the President, make music videos showing the execution of Trump.

On and on and on.

They've cultivated this animal mentality, and now we see the result of it.

The Dems have got to condemn and stop this violence. I wonder how long it will take for Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to condemn this attempted slaughter of Members of Congress.

7:09 911 call came in of active shooter
7:12 police on scene

Officers received and returned fire.

Found out later it was a Congressional game.

5 injured and in hospital.

FBI taking over.

Officers from the capital police that were injured - not life threatening.

FBI got involved at 930am
They seem to have the ID of the shooter
FBI not aware of the shooter asking about whether they were Republicans or Democrats

Conflicting reports on the weapon, I saw a lengthy interview with a witness, describe the weapon as an AK type, with curved mag.... also said it wasn't automatic...

That's because the MSM rhetoric has been so hate-filled, dishonest, and vile that it's the first thing that comes to mind. As I said earlier, the left-wing media along with celebrities and politicians have spewed so many lies, hyperbole, and violent repulsive images in plays, pictures, stand-up routines, etc., they HAVE taken it to THAT level.

I have NEVER seen it as bad as it is now....relentless, hateful, untruthful, and calculated. Using words like "the resistance" in the manner the left has been using it (even Hillary said that she was joining "the resistance"!) is a dog whistle for this violence, imo.

There are crazies that believe their s#it and get all stirred up with hate and react to it.

So, yes. MSM rhetoric and hateful lies coming from the left daily and nightly is the first thing that comes to mind.
