Ottomans had 34 different nations with in it for almost 700 years and none of them got Genocided .

When someone makes a claim ; they carry the burden of proof because innocence is sacred .

Armenians massacred Azerbaycanis in 1992 yet in Istanbul today one can find over 100K Armenians , working and living illegally .

That's almost %10 of Armenian Population willingly , wantingly and peacefully living their lives in Istanbul .

Church bells are still ringing and Armenians in Turkey don't accept the " Genocide " either .

I suggest you come to Istanbul and talk to the Head of Armenian Church ; you'll find that him & I see eye to eye on this issue .

I can explain the bodyguards reactions .
From anyone with hand to hand experience there is a crucial all deciding law of body language.

From what I gather some protestors moved onto the lawn precipitating the attack.

Its simple, those bodyguards interpreted(and rightly so) the movement of protestors, any protestors forward as an aggressive sign.

When you are taught any militarized offensive or defensive close quarters you are taught to deal with one person or a crowd.

In this case groupthink is considered.
If there are more than five of you, on my front doorstep, protesting, and one of you even takes one step forward than by the law of mob mentality I can rightly assume that the rest of you will move closer.
In animal terms, and human dominance invading space is a physical and threatening way to dominate.

So now that you step forward, if I want to dominate the crowd then I must make an example out of you to make the other pairs of balls in the area shrink and shrivel at the thought of coming closer.

A crowd usually surrounds and then attacks.
Watch any sjw riot, first angry words, then one or two move in on lone trumpet, then the brick toss and beatdown begins. By the crowd.

Those bodyguards saw a situation begin the first moves of becoming threatening, and did what they did to nuetralize any threat before said threat could build momentum.

There is active propagandistic efforts from both sides.

As if a video of tourists IN INSTANBUL would be a valid metric of sentiments. As if that overwrites the extensive history.

There are mixed families, people from both sides that went to live and work in their neighbors country at various points in history.

Doesnt change the fact that there have been several ambitions from several governments in both countries over the last century that are in direct contradiction to a peaceful global civilization.

Expelling a people from your land as has been done to Greeks, invading anothers territory, as was done to Greeks, making MORE military threats for decades....and such....is absurd. Makes me think the people involved are absurd.

BUll#E. No this was because erodogen is a insecure little man who in his home country can have you killed for what the protestors were doing.

The protestors did not step on embassy grounds. As such the bodyguards were over stepping their boundaries.

ANd If you are a bodyguard you have to obey the law as well. You are not above it.
