Back in HS i did a report on the armenian genocide. It did happen. just because Turkey didnt accept the charges does not mean they didnt do it.

I really don't have a dog in this hunt, but I went to the website you linked (www.tallarmeniantale.com...) and the quote attributed to Andrew Jackson about "the unscrupulous activist Armenians and their "genocide scholar" allies" (and the quote is) "You are a den of vipers and thieves and I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you out.".

This quote is Jackson's but it was at "the Philadelphia committee of citizens in 1834" and it was in regards to "the doings of the Bank of the United States" (cite).

So the veracity of your source may be lacking.

There were an awful lot of signs and debris in the middle of the road which tells me there were a lot of protesters in the middle of the road too. Just like all the riots and looting and violence, people in this country think the word "protest" givens them some kind of free pass to do whatever they want. These entitled snowflakes got a dose of reality and they didn't like it. Its happening everywhere now and its going to continue. Protesters blocked traffic and surrounded an SUV. The driver floored it and ran their dumb asses over. Get used to it.

If you stand on the curb and wave your flag and shout your obscenities that is one thing. But when you advance on a motorcade as an angry mob you can expect to get your ass handed to you. Freedom of speech does not include acts of violence, intimidation, or mob action. Just like legitimate protests do not include rioting, arson, and looting liquor stores.
