It's been in the TMZ style news in the past.

It only caught my attention when one of the stories purported that Shepard wanted to bring his boyfriend to the FOX Christmas party (where the two of them being seen together would have alluded to a homosexual partnership) but Roger Ailes said no.

Of course, if this were true it would be evidence that shows Ailes discriminated based on Shepard's sexual orientation. That's obviously a big no-no in my book.

But the question comes to mind, why would a self-righteous and closeted homosexual continue working for a network who's (then) CEO wouldn't even allow him (a veteran anchor) to reveal that he is gay to the public.

I would link you a source but I don't save or bookmark tabloid-esque content like that. I only recall them poorly for the sake of philosophical discussion. :p
