Some people believe it wasn't a real alien but more like some kind of alien human hybrid who tried to signal for help. I guess something did go done but it looked more like a distraction from the photo of a plane in an aircraft hangar. That picture has now vanished too. I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

Pictures mean absolutely nothing today with our image technology, and Photoshop is not even the leading edge of what is available. The military or any other faction knows that very well and would not bother to censor it after it was "published", which certainly would cause a viral response, and guess what happened. This is a clever hoax preying upon the gullible and it worked very well.

That's a bit harsh..

I mean, I, along with everyone else did state it was probably a hoax or cover from the beginning. As long as there is the thinnest possibility something could turn out true, people want to see it play out..but not just that, it's a bit of fun and you learn how to improve critical thinking skills along the way.

So I don't consider this to be a waste of time..it's better than watching the TV.

I started this thread knowing full well all of the above..it's not like I posted it to troll here. The trolling was confined to 4chan and it probably wouldn't have gone any further as many posters stated it didn't even reach GLP etc..well maybe it has now but whatever.

Nope I posted it because I knew ATS needed an actual alien conspiracy...people here live for this stuff..including me. I realised years ago, it doesn't matter if big foot is real or the Loch Ness monster etc..what matters is the quest. After all once something gets discovered it's just another animal after a while.

The other reason I posted was because something did happen on 4chan and it wasn't going to get an investigation over there. Partly due to the threads getting nuked and partly due to the frat house culture over there...but it wasn't ATS that got trolled, it was 4chan.

Why did someone troll the trolls?

Also it's been an education to watch how a conspiracy like this unfolds..and hey it may well have further rabbit holes to explore.

Has this been posted yet? Because this is similar to what people saw - just had a different background. It's from Naked Lunch (1991). It's yellow, purple around the eyes, looks like it's taking a selfie.

It's also a little startling when you first see it.

I say this because I may have experienced that "BLIT" during trance state or when having visions or lucid dreams. I remember my mind shut down when I saw the all seeing eye. 3 times to be exact.

It is possible those who witnessed it may have experienced the blit. The human mind cannot comprehend such a thing because they are extra dimensional beings. I think we have a real case here and evidences supporting a cover up.

A curious case I will add to my post above, is one of Buzz Aldrin reportedly falling ill during his visit in Antarctica. There was a rumor circulating that he had tweeted "We are all in danger, it is Evil itself." but the tweet was "supposedly" deleted. This also raised a lot of discussions across the internet in a similar way to 4chan.

The common denominator here is:

1 Buzz aldrin falls ill
2 4channers felt sick...

Both cases there were deletions.

Just saying...

It had occurred to me that even a hoax or psyop could be turned to our advantage.

In all seriousness if the appetite to hunt for this picture gets great enough, it might well encourage someone to release the "real" real one, for the hell of it.

A twitter hashtag might do the trick.

Please don't remind me of that movie. I've seen it as a kid and it was confusing as hell.

I still don't get how a picture could make you feel ill though. It was stated that the pic was only visible for 30-45 seconds before it got deleted. The immediate negative reaction puzzles me a bit. Has anyone of you a somewhat plausible explanation for that? Was it spirtitual,magic,demonic or something based on real science? I'm only speculating of course. It's fascinating stuff.

1/ you get sick because an image is just that disgustingly horrific

2/ I tell you an image is so bad it's going to make you puke..you believe me..then when you see the image you puke. It's suggestibility + nocebo effect.

If however a "real" alien pic is embedded with the aliens terrifying psychokinetic power, then that would do it too..obviously
