Given that this event was going to happen, why should it not happen to those at the top? Why should these things always happen to the small time insignificant nobodies all the time?

These people have some power to yield to put a stop to this kind of thing perhaps it would be best if these sorts of things were to happen to only them.

Burger, I am aware of what happened, and it is, of course terrible.

But my response to IgnoranceIsntBliss was right on the money, and showed the fallacy in his insistence that if immigrants were not present, that girl would not have been raped and murdered. We cannot know that, because as it happens, there is no way to prove that a thing would not have happened, only that a thing HAS happened.

That it happened at all is a travesty of course, and no one is taking away from, or deflecting anything here. I am simply pointing out that it is unsupportable to say that she would not have been raped or murdered if there was less immigration or none. It simply is not accurate to make any such suggestion what so ever.
