That's the obvious go to answer. Thing is we're already under control.

What is lacking in todays modernity in the old global tryanny model is a total wide scale acceptance of global militarism. What better call for going 'back in there' 'to tame the savages', and anywhere else, than importing their savagery into the homefronts to see and feel it first hand. Once you tune a culture into genocidal tribalism towards one group, the rest are 'next'.

Then there's the perpetual diversion dichotomy (propaganda model).

its hard to know how to argue this when i dont have the vocabulary for it. I dont know how to deftly and cogently take all of the disparate elements of this issue and put them together in a harmonized, orderly, logical relation one to another.

Like so many people i know how these things make me FEEL.....but taking those feelings and dissecting them, making sense of them, and then articulating them in a sensical manner is often elusive. Its almost like the gut reaction is so strong that it overwhelms my cognition.

However, in trying to find a starting point for the discussion i always tend to come back to the same place.

How, and in what manner did the government allow these people in?

Was it in an orderly fashion?

Was there a well thought out plan in place?

was there due consideration given of the potentially hostile dynamics between people of different ethnicities, cultures, religions and genders?

was there a well thought out plan for housing these people?

was/is there a plan for how to integrate them into society?

was there a plan for providing adequate oversight of location and movement of refugees?


So...when i look at how this popped off what i mostly see is chaos. I dont see any semblance of an orderly plan and execution of action to provide adequate care for the arrivals. Just that, just that one thing disposes me to think of the entire thing as very very bad. Chaos provides too many opportunities for criminal behavior. So its hard for me to see the governments handling of this as anything other than reckless and indifferent. I personally dont think it was done on accident, but even supposing it had....supposing the government actually did want to help all these people......doing it in the manner they did almost guaranteed a negative outcome.

Heres an analogy that probably doesnt fit, but in my mind is somewhat apropo and it happens to be one i have personal experience with.

Say you have some feral cats....or a growing feral cat population. Now, you care about the cats, because if you didnt you would just shoot them all dead and be done with it. But you do care, so you think "ok im going to start catching these cats one at a time and get them spaid/neutered and checked out by a vet for health problems etc..."

then you set about catching WILD FERAL cats. How does one do this? Well, the perfectly straight foward but completely inelegant strategy is simply wait until you can get close to one and you grab it with your hands thinking you can put it in a cage or a box and off you go.

Its not that simple....as i personally found out. Even a baby cat, sufficiently scared, can leave you with very dangerous injuries....as i personally found out. I thought, perhaps like many people do "oh its just a baby cat....it cant possibly be that difficult to catch it and put it in a cage". I was very very wrong.


So...you need a plan, and better still you need a well thought out strategy with contingencies and goals laid out in advance.

As is turned out, catching dozens of feral cats is not something you can just decide to do one day. We had to rig up all kinds of traps, using bait and switch and all kinds of other things. The more direct just chase and catch it method just did not work very well.


So....thats with animals...which you could argue present far fewer variables than humans, and yet, many of the primitive drives between us are the same.


So when we are talking about doing a humanitarian thing, a good thing, intended to help people, there is most certainly a right way and a wrong way to do it. The way the EU has gone about this has been the wrong way.

I'd consider the Arab to have a race.

Not meaning to stereotype but the majority of this immigrants/refugees do come from North Africa and Asia minor. Ethnically they are mostly of an Arabic cultural heritage.
